This small bar on the outskirts of the city center boasts a hushed, intimate decor. In a lounge atmosphere, customers, who tend to be regulars, can enjoy a wide choice of cocktails, from the most basic to the most surprising. L'Agora is surely the largest cinema in French Guiana, located on the outskirts of Cayenne, in the Family Plaza shopping center. The theaters are clean and new, with extra-large screens for your comfort. Popcorn and other sweets available on site. The only drawback is the lack of VOST programming.

This is the perfect place to meet people of all kinds, listening to a wide variety of musical styles. Weekend concerts/cabarets are very popular, and you can also attend workshops/lectures on topical subjects in the early evening. Weekday theme nights include kizomba on Tuesdays, bachata on Wednesdays, salsa on Thursdays, karaoke or theme nights on Fridays and concerts on Saturdays. Open for over 15 years now (2007 to be precise), the Kourou bowling alley offers 6 lanes, most of which are child-friendly (equipped with bumpers). In addition to bowling, other activities include pool tables, table soccer, shuffleboard and a few arcade games. Last but not least, the Mille Pâtes chain restaurant, with its bar and large terrace, serves pizzas, burgers, mussels and pasta dishes late into the evening. An ideal place to unwind and have fun with friends and family.

A Kourou institution, Le 13 boasts a large, well-shaded terrace where you can enjoy breakfast, a simple coffee or a fresh local juice in the early morning, while watching the city go by... It's also the perfect place to stop for a snack at any time of the day (internet connection is free), but also for an aperitif: both the zinc and the terrace become crowded as dusk falls. A nice cold beer or a cocktail, it's all there. It's also a great place to watch soccer, rugby and tennis matches...

Located just opposite the post office, the Bar des Sports is a popular meeting place for sports fans and military personnel alike. People come here for a simple coffee, to read the paper, to regain their strength with a fresh juice, and to eat too! The bar offers a few simple lunch dishes: various salads, omelettes, pasta plates, meats, sandwiches and more. Naturally, on sports days, there are live broadcasts, and numerous themed evenings (poker, karaoke, concerts, etc.).

The Etablissement Public de Coopération Culturelle (EPCC) les Trois Fleuves is a recent structure that aims to highlight and put into perspective Guyana's cultural wealth, in the fields of live performance and the visual arts, while offering a rich and varied program from all over the world. Numerous shows and exhibitions are organized every month. By visiting the EPCC website, you'll be able to find out about upcoming shows in town, as well as buy a ticket.

A simple café located next to the Tourist Office. The menu offers a wide range of beverages (coffees, teas, soft drinks, wines and beers), as well as snacks and tapas (paninis, burgers, gourmet plates) to enjoy on the terrace overlooking the Maroni. Perfect for a stopover at any time of day! And as for the name, every year the association organizes a nautical rally linking Tobago & Trinidad to Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni via Guyana and Suriname.

A must when you're passing through, for a drink with your feet in the sand, in a relaxed atmosphere. Music-wise, there's a little bit of everything, but mostly electro and current hits. Numerous armchairs made from salvaged materials are set around a truck painted in warm colors, giving the place that bohemian je-ne-sais-quoi. Better known as Distrimatik (the shop's primary vocation is to supply food products and vending machines to the hotel and catering trade), La Maison du Café has gradually become a veritable center of social activity in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni. Located in the heart of the city, the store has opened a cafeteria-tea room. People come here for a fresh local fruit juice, breakfast or a frugal snack on the terrace. Delicatessen on site.

Here's a place like no other: Zero Latency takes you into the world of virtual reality! Once you've arrived at the center, choose the game you'd like to play (the Far Cry license is the most popular, but you can also enter a futuristic universe, or one of survival amidst zombies...) and get equipped. We'll provide you with a virtual reality headset, sensors and appropriate weapons, so you can set off to discover this new universe. Private events can be organized for family, colleagues or friends.

It's the kind of establishment that's been missing from Montjoly beach! So here, at last, is a very pleasant snack bar on the sand, where you can relax in the afternoon after enjoying the beach. There's a wide choice of juices and cold drinks (including, of course, Jeune Gueule, the local beer), as well as Brazilian specialities to nibble on. If you're feeling a bit peckish, we especially recommend the delicious cod acras! The ideal place for a short break before heading out again at nightfall to watch the turtles lay their eggs.

Desperately looking for a place to party in Saint Laurent? It's true that there aren't many options in the area, but this one's a winner: the Coumarou Lounge is there for you! Depending on the evening (see their Facebook page), you can enjoy "retro" or "electro" themes, with the occasional "singles night". Admission is usually charged for men, and free for women. Like the Soleil Levant (also known as "Chez Nana") in Cayenne, Chez Polina is the other true temple of Guyanese carnival! Throughout the carnival season, which can last up to two months, the club organizes masked balls every Saturday, from 3 p.m. until the wee hours of the morning. The hall can accommodate from 1,500 to 3,000 cleverly disguised people, dancing until they drop! Take a peek at the arrival of the touloulous: the costumes prepared throughout the year are well worth the detour.

This dynamic association has been promoting storytelling and live performance for over 10 years. On request, Zoukouyanyan also organizes storytelling walks, evening performances, courses and workshops. In May, the association has been organizing the Koute Pou Tande festival, to which storytellers from all over the world are invited. A legendary venue for Cayenne's paré-masqué dances (this institution has existed since 1956), located in the city center, Le Soleil Levant (the establishment is also known as Chez Nana) is first and foremost known to carnival dancers: it's here that touloulous go on weekends during the carnival season to dance until the wee hours of the morning. Also known as the "University of the Rising Sun", it's THE temple of Guyana's carnival!

For over 20 years, Le Grand Blanc has been offering you over 1,000 m² of space to organize your parties! The decor is an invitation to relax, and the venue can be rented on a one-to-one basis or organized in its entirety, for banquets, weddings, balls, seminars, family days, Christmas trees... But for lovers of fancy dress parties, the space really comes into its own for a few days a year, with a program of memorable carnival evenings for upwards of 1,500 people.

A stage approved by the French Ministry of Culture since September¹, 2007, when the venue organized the Jeudis du Théâtre de Macouria. A rich program of shows and concerts, including over fifteen professional performances each year.
