In a calm, comfortable atmosphere, the attentive service will present a varied wine list (Sauvignon, Champagne, Bordeaux...) as well as draught beers. To accompany the drinks, the Barrique Vinbar offers small tasting boards to share with friends, featuring assorted charcuterie, pâtés, cheeses, olives and tapas. It's the perfect place for those looking for a relaxing evening of exceptional products.

Jernteppet means "the iron curtain" in Norwegian. One of the nicest bars in the area, with a large choice of beers from all over the world. The clientele is very rich and varied, young and old come here to chat. In the summer, the terrace overlooking the harbour is a great place to watch the midnight sun. In winter, the atmosphere is just as nice: cosy and small candles... Normal prices for Norway, i.e. about ten euros per beer. To be tested nevertheless!

The panoramic bar located on the 16th floor of the Scandic tower, gives us the impression of overlooking the city. In the evening in winter, the lucky ones will be able to admire the northern lights. Very reasonable prices for drinks and good value for money. The menu is diverse, from salads to burgers, from omelettes to chilli con carne. Their baked Hardangervidda trout is a delight! The homemade desserts are worth it too! Remember to make reservations for the restaurant. A nice place to hang out at any time of the day.

A nice bar with a rather nice decoration, mixing old and modern and a patio for those who prefer to sip a beer in the fresh air. Good atmosphere, concert evenings are organized very regularly, see online program. Mainly parties with DJs to set the dancefloor on fire. It's so good to let off steam after all this period of confinement and deprivation of human warmth! Our recommendation for a very good fair trade coffee in the centre of Bodø. This little place offers excellent coffees and chocolates (try the chocolate with brown cheese and the ones with cod) as well as very good pastries. You can also find homemade ice creams with original and honest flavours! On request, the doors of the roasting factory will be opened to you, revealing a little of the secrets of this gourmet and singular little address. The Melkebaren premises are well known to the inhabitants of Bodø! To be tested!

This bar brews its own beer on the spot... and it is very good! The spirit of a big English pub with a lot of tables. The menu is rather interesting and will delight meat lovers: ribs, burgers, etc. A good address! Children's menu for only 79 NOK. The sweet potato fries are not bad at all. Fish and chips too. Dessert with apples and chocolate. A nice place to spend some time with friends eating fatty things and good beer if you're tired of fish soup!

A pretty artist's café in a wooden house, located along the promenade that runs along the seafront. The place also hosts exhibitions and concerts. A good option for those who want to get away from the city centre for a while. Homemade waffles and lattes. You can also buy furniture and small second-hand things for the house. Coffee sales. Every month interesting and diverse exhibitions with local artists. A nice and cheap outing. Note however that this café is linked to the local church.

A very nice pub in the heart of the city with a wide choice of beers, not to be underestimated by beer lovers! A good beer in the Schouskjelleren has to be earned! If the place is not easy to find, it is worth looking for! Located in the cellar of the old Schous brewery, this tavern with its splendid stone, wood and copper decor is one of the most popular in Oslo. In this room where time seems to have stood still, a huge fireplace warms up the guests and the atmosphere. More than 60 beers are served here, brewed on the premises.

A nice bar-brewery that produces its own beer and offers pork kebabs! Perfect for a quick bite to eat or a group get-together as there is a room upstairs! Original, with its beautiful red brick and copper interior. Several kinds of exclusive beers of course, like the Scream Ale, a pale ale with caramelized notes and only 4,7° of alcohol. Be careful to go home in time because this place can quickly become a place of perdition for the amateurs of good beer!

A very pretty pub, both lounge and rustic, in the beautiful Majorstua district. It's a great place to meet up with friends over a beer, or to dine on Norwegian cuisine - which is to say, rather American! Traditional starters like mozzarella salad or moules-frites. Standard main courses too: steak frites, fish & chips, burgers... The chocolate fondant is not bad at all, with its fresh berries and raspberry coulis. Here's a highly adorable and... Instagrammable little cafe! Opening in the fall of 2021, this tiny independent café is a converted former gas station... The opening of the cafe was made possible by a crowdfunding. The gas station dates from 1935, which makes it a photogenic place. We stop there to have a coffee break with a pastry or to buy coffee. Since its opening, this small coffee station is very appreciated by the inhabitants of the district because of the welcome and the elegance of the place.

"Au Folk" is the answer to the daily question of the backpacker: "Where can I find a nice, local bar to drink a beer? The inhabitants of Bergen like to meet there all week long to share an aperitif on the terrace or simply to sit at the counter. Several generations mix in this bar and it's a pleasure. An institution in Risør! In a Scottish style, it is the popular meeting place par excellence, with its three reindeer badge. To find it, just ask for "Hau'e" which means head in the local dialect. Drinks and food are served here. Football matches are broadcast regularly. This bar opened in 1996 and has been going strong ever since, known for its wide selection of local and international draught beer. Themed evenings such as bingo and music, musical quiz or culinary evenings such as paella or burger.

Small bar without pretension, but with a good atmosphere. Very intimate, very dark (you have to like it!), with small candles, it is a rock-oriented pub. Located near the Mesna River, Nikkers offers nutritious lunches at affordable prices. The food is good. The atmosphere is pleasant, with pubs, football matches and live concerts. The place has three options: the restaurant, which serves really good food, the sports bar, where you can try one of their many local draught beers, and the nightclub, where you can quench your thirst for music and dance to the sounds of the turntables that never stop spinning and the lights that do the same!

It is a family business that has taken over an old fishing building built by the grandfather and renovated by the granddaughter into a café/brocante. The cuisine offered consists of 100% home-made local specialities. You can also buy decoration, small furniture and also clothes. Beautiful place with its feet in the water. This nomadic cultural project, built on the model of the traditional Norwegian fish dryers, has become a must in Oslo's musical and artistic life.
