The Sunseed Trust is a British association specialized in agronomic research and the development of solar energy. It finances projects, particularly in Spain, focusing on energy saving and protection of the natural environment. The organisation is approved "Youth and Popular Education".
What are they proposing? The research centre is based in the area of Almería (Spain). It teaches ecological techniques, such as the use of natural resources or the construction of solar ovens. Recently, Sunseed Trust established a shipyard in Tanzania that works on Domestic Energy.

Profile and conditions. It must be at least 17 years and a few concepts of English. There are two types of stay at the research Centre: either you come as working visitors for two to five weeks and you dedicate at least 4 hours a day, 5 days of the week to research; either you become full-time volunteers and will do 7 hours of work per day, 5 days a week over a period of 5 weeks to 1 year. You are housed and nourished. From 1 to 4 weeks, the rate is 115 € per week and the rate degressive. If you avoid air transport to reach the research centre from abroad, Sunseed offers you 10% of your total stay!
