MES DE LA PATRIA EN PANAMÁ
Go there and contact
No less than three celebrations commemorate Panamá's freedom and sovereignty, first from Spain and then from Colombia.
In November, Panamanian symbols of freedom and sovereignty are fervently celebrated. There are three dates for these patriotic festivities: November 3 commemorates the definitive separation of Panamá from Colombia (1903); November 10 pays tribute to the first uprising against the Spanish Crown, El Grito, in La Villa de Los Santos (1821); and November 28 celebrates the proclamation of independence from Spain (1821). Processions and marching bands are heard throughout the country, and locals take advantage of these holidays to get together or go on vacation.
