The owner holds a broadcast on the national radio (102.9), every Thursday at 18 p. m., in which he makes good press for French wines. We love!

This restaurant is a must, partly because of its elevated terrace right next to the Cathedral: sit up there for a great view of the building and its variously colored stones, as well as the central square of Santa Ana. Food: good pizzas, meats and pastas, as well as a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, and a selection of desserts. Come early, as the large terrace can fill up in the evening, when locals and tourists come to enjoy the food and the view.

This small pupusaria offers prices that defy all competition in El Tunco: pupusas are US$1. The choice of ingredients is admittedly limited (cheese, beans, chicken, garlic...) but the size of the delicious patties is above average! What's more, the restaurant also offers some typical Salvadoran breakfast and lunch options (red beans, plantains...). We sit down at one of the four wooden tables to enjoy all this and watch the bustle of the village's main street.

Situated right on the central square, this restaurant is ideal for sampling delicious local dishes while soaking up Suchitoto's lively atmosphere, whether at lunchtime or at dusk. The menu is varied, and includes options to share (assorted meats, garlic bread...). You can also have breakfast here (omelettes, pancakes, toast, fruit...). And don't miss the huge fruit juices. Lupita has been a Suchitoto institution for many years.

A very good Brazilian churrasco in the Colonia San Benito district, where you can enjoy quality meats and cocktails. The star attraction is the tomahawk prime rib flambéed in cachaça before your very eyes. Side dishes include grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes and the famous Brazilian cheese rolls. Delicious! Fish dishes are also available (octopus, lobster, salmon). Dessert includes passion fruit mousse, flan and brownies, all served in the beautiful stone room where you can hear the meats being grilled, or in the garden.
