The Maltese-French Chamber of Commerce was set up in 1989 to promote trade, industry and tourism between Malta and France. It maintains privileged relations with the authorities and institutions of both countries. The Chamber offers assistance to members in their commercial relations with France, and also helps French nationals in their dealings with local bodies in Malta. It regularly organizes conferences and seminars in collaboration with various professional bodies. In addition, it offers social activities enabling members to get together in an informal setting. The Maltese French Chamber of Commerce is affiliated to FIAFE and welcomes newcomers to Malta as well as Francophiles and Francophones. It is a non-profit association.
