The second golf course in Cyprus, opened in 1996, Secret Valley Golf Club is considered the most beautiful course on the island of Cyprus, well designed and with a permanent view of the sea. It has all the facilities of a major international course. As part of the creation of the adjoining new 18-hole course, former US Open champion Tony Jacklin's company, The Jacklin Design Group, is working to redesign the existing course and integrate it into the huge Venus Rock Resort project.

Cyprus Climbing Academy is a climbing academy located in Nicosia, Cyprus. It offers indoor climbing courses for children, beginners and advanced climbers. Lessons are given by qualified coaches and physical education and sports professionals. Children aged 6 and over can take part in climbing competitions. Outdoor excursions are also organized throughout the year to offer children an authentic experience and help them learn to love nature and outdoor activities. The academy also offers climbing courses for groups and companies, ideal for team-building activities. We recommend contacting the academy to join a group or book a lesson. For adults, individual lessons and monthly subscriptions are available. Safety is a priority, and it's important to respect the academy's rules, particularly with regard to equipment, behavior and use of the hall.

Managed by a team of glisse from all corners of Europe, this shop offers to rent all the equipment for kite surfing (board, portion and sailing for 50 € half day), but also surfing, paddle. To get started on kite surfing, the 3-hour course for beginners is 150 €.

This association offers guided running tours of Nicosia. You need to sign up by email, on Instagram or on Facebook. This cycling club offers racing bikes and mountain bikes for hire. It also organizes tailor-made excursions. Among the most popular tours is "L'Étape Cyprus": a 137 km loop mapped out by the Tour de France company between the Troodos massif and Aphrodite's Rock. The club houses a store, a repair shop, a training room and a café where you can meet with cycling specialists. There's plenty of useful advice to be gleaned before setting off on the island's roads and trails.

This stadium (Στάδιο ΓΣΠ/Stadio GSP, GSP Stadium) is the largest in Cyprus and the only one to UEFA standards. Built in 1999, it can accommodate 22,859 spectators. It is the home ground of the national soccer team and three clubs in the national championship: APOEL, Omonia and Olympiakos. The stadium is named after its owner, the Panchypriot Gymnastics Association (Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος τα Παγκύπρια/Gymnastikos Syllogos ta Pankipria). It's also used at major concerts, such as that of Greek band Pyx Lax in 2024.

This golf course, the second in the country, inaugurated in 2002, is located not far from Aphrodite Rock, 20 km east of Paphos. It is open to individuals to practice or to learn. Surrounded by carob and olive trees, the course overlooks the sea on almost every hole, especially hole 7, which is famous among European golfers. This land requires one million litres of water per year, more than the consumption of all the inhabitants of the district of Paphos.

It is the largest beach in the Paphos agglomeration. It extends over 1 km in length, with pebbles and especially grey sand, but little shade. The municipality of Geroskipou has been promising for years to make it the "best beach in Paphos", but it must be said that rubbish is still littering the sand. Located along the F 944 road between Kyperounta and Spilia, this open-air leisure complex created in 2012 covers 3 hectares. It includes a café-restaurant, a botanical garden and a shaded campsite. For sporting activities, there's a climbing site, paintball, orienteering and forest puzzle courses, a laser game, archery range and zip line. The facilities are well designed for children and the staff are friendly. Prices for camping and activities on the website.

Founded in 1978, this diving agency is one of the most reputable in the country. It's a serious operation, with qualified instructors, quality equipment, a pool for beginner training and a good knowledge of the region's coastline. The team is professional and very international, even including a Frenchman. Dives are organized all year round in some forty different sites around Paphos: wrecks, underwater caves and pretty wild spots such as off Capes Lara and Drepanon.

This amusement park features three acrobatic courses. The first, for children aged 2 and over, includes sections at a height of 1 metre. The second rises to a height of 3 metres and includes a small zip line. And the third, for teenagers and adults, goes up to 7 meters with a longer zip line. It's less expensive than the Sparti Rope Park in Platres, safety equipment is provided (helmet, harness) and the staff are quite attentive. Also on site: picnic area and quad bikes for hire.

This road bike circuit was created in 2022 by Amaury Sport Organisation, the company that manages the Tour de France. It's a 137 km loop with 3,000 m of ascent between the village of Dora/Δωρά, in the Troodos massif, at an altitude of 450 m, and Aphrodite Rock, on the coast. The start is from Kouklia and the finish at the Aphrodite Hills complex. Several specialized cycling agencies offer the experience. Alternatively, "L'Étape Cyprus" hosts a race every year on the second Sunday in November.
