Among the most popular tours is "L'Étape Cyprus": a 137 km loop mapped out by the Tour de France company between the Troodos massif and Aphrodite's Rock. The club houses a store, a repair shop, a training room and a café where you can meet with cycling specialists. There's plenty of useful advice to be gleaned before setting off on the island's roads and trails.
STADE GSP
Read moreThis stadium (Στάδιο ΓΣΠ/Stadio GSP, GSP Stadium) is the largest in Cyprus and the only one to UEFA standards. Built in 1999, it can accommodate 22,859 spectators. It is the home ground of the national soccer team and three clubs in the national championship: APOEL, Omonia and Olympiakos. The stadium is named after its owner, the Panchypriot Gymnastics Association (Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος τα Παγκύπρια/Gymnastikos Syllogos ta Pankipria). It's also used at major concerts, such as that of Greek band Pyx Lax in 2024.
APHRODITE HILLS GOLF CLUB

It's a serious operation, with qualified instructors, quality equipment, a pool for beginner training and a good knowledge of the region's coastline. The team is professional and very international, even including a Frenchman. Dives are organized all year round in some forty different sites around Paphos: wrecks, underwater caves and pretty wild spots such as off Capes Lara and Drepanon.
MARINA'S ROPE PARK
Read moreThis amusement park features three acrobatic courses. The first, for children aged 2 and over, includes sections at a height of 1 metre. The second rises to a height of 3 metres and includes a small zip line. And the third, for teenagers and adults, goes up to 7 meters with a longer zip line. It's less expensive than the Sparti Rope Park in Platres, safety equipment is provided (helmet, harness) and the staff are quite attentive. Also on site: picnic area and quad bikes for hire.
L’ÉTAPE CYPRUS
Read moreThis road bike circuit was created in 2022 by Amaury Sport Organisation, the company that manages the Tour de France. It's a 137 km loop with 3,000 m of ascent between the village of Dora/Δωρά, in the Troodos massif, at an altitude of 450 m, and Aphrodite Rock, on the coast. The start is from Kouklia and the finish at the Aphrodite Hills complex. Several specialized cycling agencies offer the experience. Alternatively, "L'Étape Cyprus" hosts a race every year on the second Sunday in November.
