The best cafeterias Italy

This bakery at the corner of via dei Serpenti and via Panisperna is a delight for people passing through the Monti district. In a simple and Art Deco setting, you can stop for a cornetto in the morning, a slice of pizza at lunchtime or something to accompany an aperitivo in the early evening. Their small pastries (sfogliatelle, occhi di bue...) are also very good. You will find both salty and sweet. A very good address with prices however a little higher than the average of the other Roman forni.

The "official" gelateria of Campobasso, the one where you queue up, is Brisotti; a privileged observation point.

You can't miss this café whose terrace occupies the centre of Corso Garibaldi, the pedestrian axis that crosses Reggio Calabria. At aperitivo time, it is here that the locals interrupt the traditional passeggiata to drink a spritz accompanied by appetizers, while distractedly watching the uninterrupted flow of passers-by. The address is appreciated for its old-fashioned service and its lively local atmosphere. You can also have lunch here or enjoy a pastry, a cappuccino or a good bergamot ice cream.

We will not leave Prato without a tour of the historic centre and a gentle break at the Pasticceria Nuovo Mondo. Very good coffees, cappuccinos and pastries at very low prices.
