LA GROTTA
Read moreA bar-restaurant open only in season, located on the small beach of Madonna delle Grazie, ideal for a simple lunch in the shade on the terrace, facing the waves. Its rustic decoration and succinct menu do not prevent this address from being an institution! The strong personality of the owner, Tosca Sardi, has something to do with it. The seafood cuisine, local, simple and tasty too. The place seems to have survived the tourist wave, and we like that! As well as the beautiful sunsets from the terrace...
MARTINI BEACH
Read moreThe first reason to come to Martini Beach is for the incredible panoramic terrace facing west and ideal for enjoying the sunsets. The establishment is spread over several levels, connected by wooden pontoons. Then, we like the lounge atmosphere like Café del Mar fed with good music, a decor "Robinson chic" and a staff always friendly. Finally, this place being at the same time a beach bar and a restaurant, we also come to taste delicious specialities... before making a splash, just below!
LA BUSSOLA
Read moreThere are places that keep their souls intact over time. This is the case of La Bussola, a piece of Portoferraio's history, a meeting point for the Elboe generations and tourists. Its terrace, on the beach of Les Ghiaie, was the dance floor for summer evenings. Today, the restaurant has been renewed and Chef Filippo offers an affordable menu, a clever blend of tradition (all'Elbana octopus, cacciucco, fish carpaccio) and more unusual dishes (spaghetti with tuna belly or three fish eggs).
RISTORANTE DA LEDO
Read moreRestaurant Da Ledo was the first tourist establishment in Lacona, opened by Bolano Ledo in the 1940s. Since 1992, it has been brilliantly managed by the Barresi family. On the Lacona waterfront, practically with your feet in the water, the terrace of this restaurant-pizzeria offers a charming panorama that attracts many people. And rightly so! On the menu, a cuisine dedicated to seafood and excellent pizzas cooked over a wood fire. There is also a bar service with breakfast in the morning, ice creams and aperitifs, with a view of the sea.
ASINO BEACH
Read moreIsolated in the south of the island 25 minutes from the port of Vulcano, it is the ideal place for all those who wish to escape the groups that crowd on the northern beaches. Landscape of black sand and sea "blue flag" characterize Asino Beach, trapped between steep rocks. This peaceful little corner of paradise during the day comes alive on summer evenings with a powerful sound system. Follow Gelso, then stop about 1 km before the port. A sign indicates that traffic is prohibited. It is then necessary to walk a rather steep path to the beach. A beautiful address!

LA CAPANNINA
Read moreSurrounded by golden sand, almost with its feet in the water, La Capannina restaurant is located on the Procchio waterfront, in one of the most spectacular bays on Elba. On the menu, bold and contemporary recipes, without forgetting the island's tradition. Between the finely selected meats, the catch of the day, the fruits and vegetables of the season, the dishes seduce on a light and fresh mode. Please note that this restaurant is owned by the Hotel del Golfo and is open to all for lunch and dinner, upon reservation.
RIVA NORD
Read moreIf we had to choose only one on the long stretch of sand of Torre Grande, it would be Riva Nord. We were simply charmed by the place: the restaurant is located on the beach, just a few steps from the water. The service is impeccable, the staff very smiling and attentive. The tables are quite far from each other, creating a little intimacy under the large veranda. A local cuisine but revisited, and of course one comes to Riva Nord to taste sea products: the octopus is delicious and the pasta recipes are surprising.
