In a small alleyway hides this picturesque restaurant with its pretty, quiet terrace overlooking the waves. The interior looks like a cave with a thousand marine objects and old photos. The specialities of the house are fish and seafood recipes, with good assortments of antipasti, plates of grilled fish of the day, and the unmistakable swordfish which is caught in the waters of Scilla and served grilled, in carpaccio or with a dish of fresh pasta. Good seafood cuisine in an idyllic setting.

An unusual setting for a meal at the water's edge, a trabucco where fishingnets are cut out against the sea in the background. The Ottaviano family, owners of the trabucco for five generations, concocts traditional or more innovative recipes with the fish caught in the fishing nets and the vegetables from the Peschici vegetable garden. Very pleasant also for the aperitivo, with a glass of Apulian wine accompanied by some seafood. Live jazz sessions in summer. This small refuge, once a secret place, is now known by many tourists.

Tables are set up on both sides of the building: facing the sea a few meters from the beach, but also on the piazzetta next to the Grand Hotel and the Thalassio spa center in the pedestrian zone. You can order from the à la carte menu: fish tartare, pasta with all kinds of sauces, fritto misto, local cuisine, as well as pizzas... Friendly staff. The place also has some pleasant surprises in store throughout the year, such as cabaret and one-man-show evenings, the schedule of which is announced as they happen on the Instagram page.

Seafood is prepared with originality and know-how by the chef, who prepares a quality cuisine, carefully prepared and home-made. For example, fresh fish tartars, San Remo prawns with bacon and fried leeks, tagliolini with squid ink, cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper with swordfish tartar marinated in lime) and pane fritto.
