A sort of labyrinthine, avant-garde department store, High Tech is a mishmash of books, furniture, perfumes, fabrics, lamps and accessories. Over 2,000^m2 on three floors: perfumery, stationery and fashion accessories on the first floor, the kitchen department (filled with fun gadgets) and bathroom department in the basement, while the second floor features sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs and even office furniture. A sheet metal door gives access to a huge hangar filled with furniture from all over the world.

Creativity and aestheticism at their most expressive: the beautiful boutique in Via Monte Napoleone showcases the creations of Murano's greatest glassmaker. Since 1921, Venini has combined the elegance of tradition with contemporary lines. His vases and floor lamps are unrivalled in their clarity and purity. We marvel at its collections, from the more classic Artglass and its iconic Fazzoletto (a vase whose outline is worked like the folds of fabric) to the more contemporary Artlight range.

Cereria Luma passionately continues the handcrafted production of candles initiated in 1795 by the Colenghi family business, for both liturgical celebrations and private use. The choice is impressive, with a creativity in shapes, colors and fragrances that leaves one in awe. Those imitating cupcakes or cannoli will appeal to many. What's more, you can order personalized candles for special occasions, or simply for the joy of having unique candles!

A country of gourmets such as Italy must have its own store entirely dedicated to the art of the palace. It's done with C.u.c.i.i.n.a (understand cooking, but also Come Una Cucina Ispira Nuovi Appetiti or "How cooking inspires new appetites")! Here, you will find absolutely everything you need to prepare small dishes, from aprons to ladles, pasta knives and Italian coffee makers. Of course, this store will not give you the culinary skills of an Italian chef, but having the right instruments is already a good start!

Lidia's laces are certainly among the finest in the lagoon. An art that Lidia herself learned from her grandmother, at a time when all the young girls of Burano mastered the technique. In the back room you will find a superb collection of antique lace from the 16th to the 20th century. An exhibition that rivals that of the nearby lace museum, but is only inferior in size. Note the pocket handkerchief with the N of Napoleon that belonged to the emperor and the series of fans with such a fine design

If big names like Venini or Barovier & Toso are to glassware what Chanel or Armani are to fashion, Mazzega would be the equivalent of one of the best tailors whose reputation is only transmitted by word of mouth. Glassware, vases, lighting fixtures and mirrors with chiselled contours are blown and shaped with the greatest know-how. A visit to the kiln is also possible on reservation; departing from Venice, Mazzega will send its own boat to pick you up and bring you back.

Marco Segantin is an artist, even more, a magician, able to transform every flower and plant into a work of art for weddings, events and to decorate the interiors of the most beautiful castles, palaces, hotels and restaurants. Its Turin shop, overlooking the courtyard of a mansion in Piazza Castello, is in itself a sort of secret garden. In addition to its extraordinary floral compositions of all sizes and shapes, home fragrances and eaux de toilette are equally refined.

Murano's largest (and most expensive) glassmaker, whose outlets have been exported all over the world, never ceases to create pieces with simply perfect aesthetic qualities. Great Italian designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Gae Aulenti and Gio Ponti have participated in the creation of the latest works, vases with elegant lines and sparkling colors. At number 50 of Fondamenta Vetrai, you will find the exhibition of the collection models. A real art gallery... The store is located at number 47.

At the corner of the elegant Corso Venezia, here is the store of Fornasetti, a Milanese company of international renown, famous for the design and decoration of rather luxurious furnishing objects. Founded by designer Piero Fornasetti in the 1950s, the house is best known for its intriguingly feminine plates. Among the many objects on offer are the Notte Fornasettiana panels in printed and hand-lacquered wood, the Combacio Malachite sofa in jacquard fabric and the Palladiana chest of drawers in printed and lacquered wood.

In Piazza dei Signori, in front of the Palladian Basilica, a sumptuous store where fabrics of all kinds and colors dress the shelves and various displays with a grandiose brilliance and a meticulous order. At Manpreso, we specialize above all in artisanal know-how, in handmade sewing, in the making of custom-made outfits for women and men. The other activity of this family business is the marketing of a range of select leather goods.

Elena Mulas makes rugs, tapestries, curtains and textile accessories with talent according to an ancient traditional Sardinian method that she is the only one to perpetuate on the island. She uses noble natural materials such as wool, linen and cotton. She also mixes asphodel with wool to create luminous patterns that seem to be made of golden threads. When you make an appointment, Elena will welcome you and show you her work on vintage machines in her workshop, located on the outskirts of Urzulei.

Majola is a showcase for artistic creation and craftsmanship in Sardinia. The vast store is brimming with traditional products and original creations inspired by ancestral know-how. You'll be able to admire the variety of the island's craftsmanship, its great finesse and the naivety of its recurring motifs. You'll find carpets, ceramics, baskets, furniture, wooden statuettes, wicker baskets and lampshades... A veritable Ali Baba's cave, but airy and tidy. The products are affordable and of good quality.

The Galerie Umberto I, one of Turin's three ancient shopping arcades, built on a former hospital and inaugurated in 1890, links the city center with the Roman Quadrilateral.
