It's also possible to swim in the river just a few meters away, where a beach has been laid out. The on-site restaurant is of excellent quality, so locals come here to eat, but also to take in the beauty of the surroundings for a digestive stroll and perhaps catch a glimpse of a squirrel or two.

No doubt the most famous Bled pension. This old building inspires confidence. If you ignore the road, the framework is enchanting. The island is just opposite and the gondolas pier brings a touch of authenticity. Yet once inside, there is nothing exceptional. The rooms are standard and ageing. The reception is not always nice. On the other hand, the restaurant prepares very good dishes and kremšnita is often delicious. We advise you to book in advance.

Between Piran and Portorož, on the seafront, a pretty pink multi-storey house houses a family-run hotel with 16 recently renovated single rooms, some with balconies and breathtaking views of the Adriatic. Nearby: small, old-fashioned campsite with 30 pitches for tents and 110 for camper vans and mobile homes. There are also a few shops, including a grocery store. But the campsite, with its narrow pitches, is rather noisy at night. There's a lack of space and you feel like you're all on top of each other during the summer months.

A new 2008 than this spa centre with 2 200 m ² of aquatic surface and six different saunas, and a wellness hotel with 180 beds (open August 2008). The property belongs to the Zdravilisce Lasko, already well known for its thermal baths. This brand new establishment also has a congress centre. The spa centre is located near the Savinja river and it is an interesting idea from the architectural point of view: many swimming pools (with waves, ponds for children, whirlpool…) are located below a large glass dome, which is supposed to open in summer. Outdoor pools are filled with salt water.

After Cerkno, on the road to Tolmin, is the most famous farm in the valley. With 15 rooms, it offers residents a pretty terrace, a swimming pool, a whirlpool, a Finnish sauna... The services are of high quality. The rooms have been recently renovated and have gained in character. Very nice breakfast. The oldest part of the building is 200 years old and you will enjoy excellent traditional cuisine. Bicycles are available free of charge in summer. A peaceful place for those seeking rest!

Located 1.5 km from the city centre, this is the most famous pension in Radovljica. It has 16 comfortable rooms, almost all of which have a balcony with a view of the Triglav or Karawanken mountains. As the name suggests, the guesthouse organizes many sports activities (fishing, cycling, white water sports, skiing) and has a tennis court, swimming pool and wellness centre. The establishment has benefited from a partial renovation of its rooms and common areas. Unfortunately not for the decoration, which is a bit dated!

Here's the address for those who want to start sports sports. Located on the edge of the Savinja, the hostel carries the name "sport center". To discover kayaking or rafting on the Courants currents, this is the right address. The instructors are very professional and know how to transmettrent their passion for these sports and their love for this beautiful river. Count € 29 for a kayak and € 27 for rafting. On the accommodation side, the hostel has eight rooms. On the summer evenings, it is very nice to take the meals on the terrace with view of the Savinja. Clients are all nationalities. Discussions about pivo often bear on the days spent down the river. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Count € 30 per person.

At the northern end of the small town centre, this family-run establishment with the feel of an old-fashioned hostel welcomes its visitors. With a shared kitchen, the rooms have been recently renovated and you won't feel cramped. High quality bedding. They also have television, Wifi and air conditioning. We will sometimes regret the noise emanating from the terrace and the road, but nothing serious! Breakfast is plentiful and rates remain affordable. Free parking on site.

Idrija Youth Hostel is located on the hill overlooking the city. Surrounded by gardens, it is in fact the school boarding school for the rest of the year. First good point: the rooms are large and airy. The common areas are well equipped, including the kitchen, which has everything you need to prepare a small meal for yourself. The welcome is very friendly; audience rather young and sometimes a little noisy, but general atmosphere good-natured. No breakfast offer.

This residence is the most central of all. It is often necessary to book because it often displays complete.
