Ireland, land of whiskey, beer and gin, has among its wonderful lands a one hectare vineyard, located in Kinsale, at the extreme south of the country. Since 1980, Thomas Walk has been one of the only winemakers on the island. Facing the sea, the organic vineyard is covered with wild grass and daisies. There are two grape varieties: Velvet and Rondo. The wines of the estate are light and mineral, with notes of spices and blackberries. Unfortunately, the public cannot visit the winery, but bottles are available for purchase online.
