Radio Luxembourg

Radio Ara is a Luxembourgish radio in several languages (English, Luxembourgish, French...). It is considered as a free and alternative radio that offers original content. It broadcasts a variety of music (in terms of style and countries) and invites organizations and citizens to participate. It offers several different programs on culture, including local news. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, it also offers local news in Ukrainian and focuses on their culture.

Eldoradio is a private Luxembourgish radio station that broadcasts in Luxembourgish on its territory and part of Lorraine. The programs vary between music, podcasts or news. Their website is also in Luxembourgish. You can find there the weather forecast, the livestreams of the day with the different musics proposed, practical if you liked one of the past sounds but you didn't know the title or the artist. They mostly broadcast pop and alternative music. They also propose a section stock exchange to be informed in real time.

Also called Radio Belle Vallée, RBV is a radio station that targets all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest. It broadcasts a variety of music. Its website is a gold mine of archives of their different programs. They offer a good number of podcasts on different subjects, such as the history of music. They also offer different services, like hiring a photographer or a DJ and refer to many local businesses. You can also discover on their website the different columnists of the radio. It's definitely a human radio.

Radio Diddeleng offers you not one, but two radio stations. It also has a Portuguese version, Dudelange, which shares the same FM band. The group aims at young people from 15 to 30 years old by broadcasting a variety of music 24 hours a day. The Diddeleng website is a mix of Luxembourgish and French. It also offers various local news as well as weather and traffic information. Different video clips are broadcasted on their YouTube channel. Associations can also broadcast their ads for free

RTL Lëtzebuerg is the official radio of Luxembourg and offers programs only in Luxembourgish. Among its programs: the traditional news, RTL Kultur, Background am Gespréich, Carte blanche or Face-à-Face. The radio also has a website (www.rtl.lu), on which all the latest news is shared, as well as reruns of their programs and podcasts (www.play.rtl.lu). The production company also owns "RTL 5 Minutes" (French content) and "RTL Today" (English content).

The Spanish and Portuguese site par Excellence with the Latin music that goes with it. A real radio change, it moves, it gives the fishery. For salsa and samba fans… or those who want to lead to understanding Portuguese or Spanish.

The Portuguese community, which is also the largest foreign community in the Grand Duchy, has its own radio in Portuguese.

De SozioKulturelle Radio is a public service radio station that broadcasts socio-cultural programs with music and cultural information mostly in Luxembourgish. It broadcasts on the airwaves of Dudelange. Lovers of classical music will be pleased since the radio broadcasts the concerts of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. It is also considered as a platform for associations in the country. You can find many podcasts on its website.

The programmes of this national radio are only in Luxembourgish. General radio, IND offers information, sports and service programs. It also leaves a lot of room for music.
