The airport of Rabat-Salé is fresh new, a little eccentric, taxis will take about 200 DH to make the airport/downtown route. This beautiful airport completed its work in 2016. There are exchange bureaus and car rental agencies. Daily national and international flights. Also served by the Ryanair low-cost company. A new Toulouse-Fès line was inaugurated at the end of 2016. Some flights arrive late in Fez, think about organizing your transfer.

Recently renovated, the main railway of Fez is equipped with all the necessary services. Expect twenty trains to Casablanca (4h30, DH116), ten trains to Rabat (3h30, DH85), Marrakech (7h15, DH206) and Meknes (30 minutes, DH22), four daily trains to Tangier (5h, DH111), Oujda (5h30, DH116) and seven for Taza (2h, DH46). Be careful when you arrive at Fez by train, do not stop at the first station because it is very far from the city centre.

Booking one day in advance is strongly recommended, the buses are often full!

There is no airport in Chefchaouen. The closest airports are Martil-Tetouan (little served) and Tangier.

It would be difficult to list all buses departing from Casablanca. The city is a bus station between the north and south buses. Daily, many buses serve all the towns. For example, there are a dozen buses a day towards Rabat (35 DH, 1:15 a. m.), a dozen for Marrakech (between 90 and 120 DH, 3:30 a. m., 3:30 a. m.), Agadir (between 215 and 270 DH, 6:30 p. m.) Ès… There are also many international buses from Casablanca. Another bus station is located rue des Oulad Ziane, but the companies working there are unprofessional and therefore poorly advised for basic security reasons.

This very old private company, which has existed since 1919, provides bus services throughout the country. The air-conditioned buses offer better comfort for a price barely higher than the competition. They leave from Avenida de España, right next to the train station. Luggage is checked into the bus's hold 15 to 20 minutes before departure. CTM buses also pass through the Tangier bus station located in the southwest of the city. The Tangier-City station, which is functional and easy to access, was completely redeveloped and expanded in the early 2000s by architect Youssef Melehi. It was equipped with a new passenger terminal in 2018 dedicated to the Al Boraq high-speed train. The high-speed train connects Tangier to Casablanca in just 2 hours 10 minutes and Rabat in 1 hour 40 minutes, with other connections to Assilah, Sidi Kacem (change for Fez) and Marrakech (night train). From the city center, this is the fastest way to reach Spain via the Strait of Gibraltar by speed boat. Don't be surprised if you share the ride with other passengers who get on and off regularly along the way. They are going in the same direction as you.

An airport with a completely refurbished and resolutely innovative terminal - quite original! It is now possible for people waiting for or accompanying travellers to pass through the first gates at the airport entrance and enter the concourse. On arrival, to reach your place of stay, you can choose between the bus or cab - whose fares are regulated - which take around 15 minutes to reach the city center.

In 2019, Tangier got a new, modern bus station, but it is quite far from the city center. Located 10 km southwest of the city, it is part of the integrated development of Tangier-Metropolis. The station has a passenger terminal and can accommodate 50 coaches. They serve all of Morocco, from distant Marrakech to neighboring Chefchaouen. Please note that tickets must be purchased before boarding. The bus station also has a large parking lot for large cabs.

Taxi Maroc is a digital platform dedicated to the rental of vehicles with driver for transfers and excursions. You can book up to 2 hours before departure via the website. The ONCF station in Marrakech can be recognized by its magnificent façade. Located in the Guéliz district, it is served by several ALSA bus lines. If you plan to reach the cities of the north, Casablanca, Rabat or Tangier, the train remains an economical way to get around. On the other hand, cities in the south, such as Laâyoune, are not served by train. The station staff is at your disposal for any information. Alsa is the company that provides public transport in the city of Marrakech, but also in the entire Haouz region. It provides a regular connection between Marrakech and Tahanaout with the line 35. Most of the buses leave from the bus station of Marrakech, at the Bab Doukkala station. However, it should be noted that not all towns are served by this means. For example, to reach the towns of Ouirgane or Imlil, you have to stop in Asni and take a large collective cab to reach your destination.

Leaving the medina via Bab Doukkala, you arrive at the bus station, a vast modern rectangular building surrounded by a huge car park.
