Contemporary and geometric, with its huge tower overlooking the surrounding area, it offers a refined design… The avowed goal from its inauguration in 2003? To make Irun the centre of the future eurocity with a common desire: combining the ports of Bayonne and Pasajès, as well as the airports of Bayonne and Fontarrabie! Ficoba, created by the architects Astigarraga and Lasarte, has an area of 3 exhibition halls of 5 000 m ², an outdoor space of 7 500 m ² for fairs and exhibitions as well as a parking space of 1 000 places. At the disposal of companies, nothing less than: a press room, 6 private offices for exhibitors, three main meeting rooms, an auditorium and three simultaneous translation booths. The hotel is of course equipped with a cafeteria and a panoramic restaurant for up to 500 people.

Inaugurated in 2011, the French Institute of Bilbao is a French language teaching center, as it exists in many countries with a French diplomatic representation. It also offers an interesting cultural program with exhibitions, film screenings and conferences, often in collaboration with the city's main festivals (ZINEBI, Dantzaldia, Bilboloop, BAD, Kalealdia, FANT).

This Way of St. James Interpretation Centre is housed in a former 16th-century palace in the historic heart of Orio. The first floor houses the offices of the municipal tourist office. On the second floor, an exhibition tells the history of the pilgrimage route and of Santiago de Compostela, with also legends, statistics... Finally, the third floor focuses on the two routes that run through the Basque Country.

This interpretation center opens a permanent exhibition allowing you to understand all the uniqueness and diversity of this protected mountain landscape. Through photos, videos and explanatory panels, you will learn all about its flora, fauna and geology before exploring its hills. The visit ends with a walk in a pleasant garden full of endemic species. There is also a small souvenir shop with cards and books.
