RANDONNÉE PÉDESTRE

Hiking

In three good hours of walking, the most sports will be able to travel from Blanes to Lloret de Mar by following a path that is most of the time inside the land but leaves and arrives by the sea. The starting point will be the island of Sa Palomera, considered the first or last of the rocks of the Costa Brava. The GR leads to the top of the mountain Sant Joan (172 m) with panoramic views of Blanes and the Tordera valley. You can reach the Santa Bàrbara pass at 110 m. A few kilometres away, you will reach Sainte Clothilde gardens and reach the coastline.

Far from the offers for the "Ironman" and the most extreme sport fanatics, at Happy Menorca you can enjoy all the splendor of nature, the interior and the Menorcan coast, regardless of your level and physical condition. This local agency is involved in ecotourism in the nature reserves near Granada and the Sierra Nevada National Park. Maria Teresa, its founder, is a true mountain enthusiast. It has always oriented its projects towards sustainable development and respect for the environment. Thus, 5% of the price of the excursions is donated to local associations. The activities offered are suitable for all audiences, from 3-hour family excursions to high mountain climbs for the more sporty. We highly recommend it.

LA VOIE VERTE

Hiking

This green route, which is 5 kilometres long, links Castelló d'Empúries and Empuriabrava, and runs along the river Muga. There are two entrances, one for bicycles and hikers, the other for horse riding. This allows you to be as close as possible to the special ecosystem of the banks, which are home to small forests of ash, alder and poplar trees that are home to all kinds of birds. Halfway along the path, a wooden bridge crosses the Muga River and leads to the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park.
