This company, founded in 1965 by Juan Martínez Villacañas, known as Tito, potter and ceramist varnisher, is surely one of the most famous pottery workshops in Úbeda. While keeping part of the ancient Ibero-Moorish pottery tradition, he also endeavours to produce contemporary objects for current use. This work has been rewarded with two national handicraft awards, in 2006 and 2012. With one of his sons, Pablo, he even opened a museum. There is also a workshop and a shop where you are welcome.

In this artisan you will find traditional pieces of black ceramics. Verdú is known for this type of production. Prior to the arrival of running water and refrigerators in the Foyers homes, it was customary to leave a ceramic pot filled with water in front of each house, where passers-by could refresh.
