It hosts several low-cost airlines including Ryanair (including flights to Marseille, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Pau, Carcassonne, La Rochelle, Perpignan, Bergerac, Figari, Nîmes). Bus line A connects the airport to Charleroi-Sud station. A bus + train ticket (bulk ticket) to any Belgian station is sold at the airport.

Approximately half an hour, a train connects the airport to Antwerp central station (change to the station of Brussels North). The journey takes about 1 hours and costs 7,40 e.

You can get off at the airport's SNCB station from most of the country's train stations, as well as international ones, and you can also take lines 12 (express in Brussels in 30 min.) 471, 659 and 359 on the Flemish side (and a ton of other smaller lines). There are also connections to Charleroi airport, which is very popular with low-cost airlines. Flights to Schengen countries depart from Pier A, to Africa from Pier T, and to the rest of the world from Pier B.
