Korouoma is a canyon fracture valley 30 kilometers long and up to 130 meters deep, located 110 kilometers southeast of Rovaniemi. It offers breathtaking scenery all year round, with cliffs, rapids and waterfalls. This nature reserve is also home to rare species and is an ideal natural area for hikers. In winter, the waterfalls turn into fantastic ice formations that are famous for ice climbing and are a great attraction for tourists from all over the world.Your guide will take you to the Korouoma canyon for a beautiful hike in the nature reserve. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy the incredibly peaceful atmosphere of the local forests. Depending on the time of year, you'll be able to observe all the colors and shades that Arctic nature has to offer! In spring and summer, Korouoma is an oasis of green silence, where you can recharge your batteries. In autumn, nature shows its beauty in truly colorful ways!
