Ryanair offers two weekly flights to Funchal airport from Paris-Beauvais all year round. Shuttle buses run from Paris, Porte Maillot to the airport. Connections are also available from several provincial cities. While Ryanair's reasonable prices are often attractive, its travel conditions are a little less so, particularly its baggage policy. To get to Funchal without paying extra, you'll need to travel with a small bag that fits under the passenger seat.
