It is easy to imagine that being in the sun all year round means only a gentle way of life and no worries. And yet, everyone can find themselves in housing or precarious situations, even in the tropics! This is where the association Le Manteau de Saint-Martin comes in: giving back the opportunity to the most disadvantaged, welcoming women in distress, supporting administrative procedures to avoid marginalization in case of isolation. Here you will find listening, advice and refuge. An extended hand, and 12 temporary accommodations to remedy temporary precarious situations. Clothing sales are organized and food packages are distributed once a week. Please be aware that if you are visiting the island and find yourself in an unfavourable situation, the Coat will be able to help you in complete confidentiality.
