Polynésie Première is the first public television channel of France Télévisions which gives all the news and information about Polynesia. Go to the website of the channel to have continuous news, discover videos or listen to the radio. It was founded under General de Gaulle who wanted to offer a free television channel to the Polynesians in compensation for the installation of the Moruroa nuclear test center. It is thus in 1965 that images of Télé Tahiti were broadcasted for the very first time.
