This small international hostel is very welcoming. It is also very famous for its human warmth, we are here as in a big family. The manager speaks very good French and knows the region like the back of her hand. So we don't hesitate to ask him questions. The rooms are clean (although a small refreshment would be welcome) and the prices are very affordable. It is a good address for small budgets and for those who wish to meet other travellers and share friendly moments

A small, unpretentious, very clean and well-kept establishment, ideally located a stone's throw from the various palaces of Seoul and the traditional village of Bukchon. Even if the rooms are not decorated and are a bit old-fashioned, the prices are really interesting. Even if one can find a little better for the same or slightly higher fees, this institution is still a good option for small scholarships. Every team speaks sufficient English for you to exchange with each other.

The best hotel in the city, which even if a slight refreshment of the whole establishment would be, to be honest, rather welcome, still promises a stay in quite acceptable comfort. The rooms, in which wood predominates, are rather pleasant, clean and very spacious. They all have underfloor heating (ondol). But the main advantage of this establishment is certainly its geographical location, very close to Jikjisa. Without being unforgettable, it is a correct choice although a bit expensive.

This wing is more recent than the previous one. If the rooms are very pleasant, they are less than that of the Grand Inter-Continental: smaller and less warm.

In the museum garden, five traditional North Korean houses are open to the public and can be used for overnight stays. A truly unique experience, not expensive at all, especially if you come in a group. The only disadvantages are the spartan comfort (and it is better to avoid it in winter), the district is very quiet at night and you must have left the premises at 8:30 in the morning, before the museum opens (which can keep your things if you stay several days). The right thing to do in Sokcho.
