Read moreThere are no direct flights to Pemba from Dar es Salaam and Arusha airports. Unguja-Pemba flights are operated by Coastal Aviation and Zanair. Located 7km from Chake Chake, it is a tiny airport, with a small refreshment stand selling some drinks and sweets on site. To get to Chake Chake from the airport, you must take a taxi which will cost you a maximum of 5000 TSH. You will be charged at least 30 000 TSH for Mkoni or Wete, 40 000 TSH for Fundu Lagoon Resort and 50 000 TSH for Manta Reef Lodge.
