Located in an alley in the old Stone Town, the Mrembo Spa is a small and pleasant structure offering all types of treatments (massages in particular) with products made from plants from Zanzibar. The treatments used are 100% natural, for example the Mrembo signature massage with baobab, moringa and coconut essential oils. A boutique also sells soaps and beauty products in its shop at the entrance of the spa. An address that is worth a visit for a gift or a moment of relaxation on holiday.

If you're looking for a good place to get a massage in Pajé, Zula Spa is the place to go. The massages and treatments are performed by professionals, the range of choices is wide, and the prices are really mini. We loved the signature Zanzibar Spice massage, made with Zanzibar spices, but you can also opt for a Swedish, deep-tissue or post-kite massage to soothe aching muscles. In addition to facial and body treatments, pedicures and manicures (with gel varnish) are available.

In Stone Town, it's very hot, the air is often heavy, and the beach doesn't necessarily appeal to you because the water is polluted by big boats, that's a fact. If you feel like cooling off for an afternoon, the Tembo Hotel's swimming pool is open to non-residents. This new Zuri Rituals boutique in Zanzibar is an enriching concept-store, first and foremost for the range of natural cosmetics it is beginning to develop based on plants with healing properties. But Zuri Rituals doesn't limit itself to beauty products: the store also offers high-quality spices sold in bulk and not crushed in sachets like in the market, old photos of the town beautifully framed in carved driftwood, essential oil compress balls draped in kitenge, and lots of other lovely surprises.

The splendid spa of the luxurious Z Hotel on the third and last floor of the building is brand new and beautiful, combining extreme relaxation, beauty care and the pleasure of contemplation. A great effort has been made on the magnificent wallpaper, the lounge, its sofas and deckchairs to relax, the pretty massage rooms decorated with fresh flowers, the outdoor terrace to get a massage for two. On the program: hot stones, aromatherapy and massages using essential oils produced on the island. The prices are quite affordable.
