If the location of the ITC Rajputana hotel does not seduce at first sight, wedged between the train station and an elevated road, its restaurant Peshawri will quickly make you forget this inconvenience. The somewhat curious setting is probably reminiscent of the interior of a traditional house in the Peshawar region of northern Pakistan. Stone walls, wooden clerestories stretched with string, long wooden tables and upholstered stools. The interest lies of course in the plate. The chefs will prepare delicious North Indian specialties with a touch of spice.

The most famous restaurant in Vadodara, inside the WelcomHotel ITC Alkapuri, Peshawri offers unparalleled Mughlai (North Indian/Pakistani) cuisine. The menu is short and concise, but everything is absolutely delicious. The wooden tables with trestles give character to the room, which takes up the codes of the region, with its copper urns adorning the walls. This is one of the best restaurants in Leh. Everything on the menu is to be recommended, but our preference is for tandoor cooked dishes (kebabs, chicken tikka), Tibetan specialties like mutton momos, kothays (half steamed, half friedmomos), shabalay or avocado soup. If you like fish, trout is also on the menu when the road to Manali is open. Possibility to sit on the terrace or in the dining room when the evenings are still cool. We asked several people what the best Goanese restaurant in town was, and they all said the Ritz Classic. The authentic, spicy Goanese cuisine attracts every family in Panjim. Try the shark with ambotik sauce(mori ambotik), cafreal chicken, xacuti oysters or vindaloo squid... you won't be disappointed. But remember to specify "not spicy" if you don't want to end up in the emergency room with a burning palate! The Goanese cuisine is undoubtedly the most spicy in the country.

The entrance is small, but after a narrow corridor, you arrive in a large restaurant room with a modern design. This address is very popular with locals and western tourists. The menu is varied (excellent Kerala specialties, noodles, snacks, ice cream...). The dishes are tasty and generously served. However, make sure that the waiter understands your order, as the staff does not understand English well. The walls of the place are adorned with works of art by local artists. There is a smaller branch on Cullen Road.

Installed on the first floor directly on M.G. Marg, a typical restaurant which serves delicious Tibetan specialities(thentuk, thugkpa, momo...). Here is a very good and friendly address with a nice view on the pedestrian street, and the prices are very reasonable. We recommend you the pork momos and the cold pork slices with spices, they are delicious! And moreover, you can even drink a cold beer to accompany your meal. Be careful though, the establishment closes its doors quite early in the evening... A real favorite.

This small and cosy restaurant serves delicious Tibetan food concocted by^Mrs. Diki Chenzum. The dishes are varied and copious: excellent momos, thugkpa, thenthuk, noodles, soups but also very good fresh fruit juice and lassis. Simply the best Tibetan restaurant in town. Be careful though, there are only a few tables and the places are expensive, moreover it happens regularly that at the end of the day the fresh ingredients used to concoct some dishes are exhausted... Highly recommended for lunch.

This restaurant opened by the charming Nilza is a little jewel. It is even the only one in Ladakh to serve authentic Ladakhi cuisine! The place is beautiful with lots of woodwork, a traditional open kitchen and a small balcony with a breathtaking view. The menu, elaborated with local organic products, is varied, with notably filled khambir (ladakhi bread), chhutagi and skyu ( home made pasta in a broth), thugkpa, mok mok ... Excellent desserts and original drinks. Possibility to take cooking classes. A favorite!

We will not hide it, Spice Court is a restaurant for tourists. But... the quality is there, the setting is pleasant, the service is impeccable. The meal is taken in a large garden with, in the first part of the evening, a traditional show. From 9pm, the Indians take over the place, and the artists go home. The menu offers a wide variety of simmered dishes, perfectly spiced and tasty. A beautiful air-conditioned room welcomes the customers on hot days. Cherry on the cake, the owner speaks an impeccable French.

Here is a typical restaurant to discover: to explore the richness and the delicacy of the famous Gujarati thali, it is here that you must come. Enticing presentation and authentic traditional flavors. It's so good that you'll ask for more... and that's good, they are served as much as you want! The big room is a little dark but very clean. Local color atmosphere enhanced by a very smiling welcome. Not to be missed under any pretext.

This kabob restaurant is an institution in Lucknow. The grandfather, the chef of the last Mogul, left the art of preparing melt-in-the-mouth kababs as a precious legacy to his grandson, Mohammad Usman. You can watch the cooks at work from the street.
