Open - from 12h30 to 02h30

The success of this cocktail bar on Beau Vallon beach has led to its expansion, and Mr. Eddy now offers excellent grilled meats all day long (the kitchen closes at around 10pm). Between a Seybrew and a rasta mai tai, you can enjoy grilled chicken, fish kebabs, grilled shrimps and breaded chicken breast, all to the sound of a DJ on Thursdays and a live band on Sundays. There's plenty to keep you going between swims... and you'll be greeted with a smile!

Open - from 01h00 to 00h00

Here is an enchanting setting, an idyllic picture facing Grosse Roche in a delightful room open to the four winds where you can enjoy fish dishes just out of the nets and finely worked by the adorable chef Joël Confait. If the prices are not cheap, the quality is there and, for the romantics, the few tables placed on a small natural dike will be perfect, but it is better to reserve. You can also just come and have a drink and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets of the island.

In the enchanting, hushed setting of the Constance Lemuria, what a pleasure it is to sit down to lunch at Le Nest, between two swims on the delightful Anse Georgette. Perched high above the resort, this table seems to sit on a balcony above Petite Anse Kerlan, offering spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. After a cocktail and a freshly squeezed fruit juice, take advantage of the view to sample freshly caught seafood, prepared with Creole savoir-faire. An excellent moment in prospect. LES LAURIERS RESTAURANT

Regional cuisine restaurant €€
4.3/5

Warm atmosphere under this beautiful and large garden hut with leaves from the mythical Vallée de Mai. You can add a service of almost European efficiency to the daily beautiful buffet and you will realise that this restaurant deserves laurels. At grills, the king of grilled fish, Edwin, the boss, who is also a sea champion. Diving, fishing, excursions: the pink guy must have drifted well on water before anchoring a little on land, for the love of a beautiful blonde woman, a Belgian named Sybille, who does not keep his forces to make his business work, successful, because we are right now in one of the two best reference restaurants of Côte d'Or. It is also better to make a reservation even on weekdays. In the afternoon, you can sit at a table around an ice cream, a cake or a fresh fruit juice.

This is a marvellous spot: here you can eat with your feet in the sand, overlooking the dazzling Anse Royale, salads made with vegetables from the owners' garden, homemade bread and pasta, good fish or pizzas concocted by the talented chef. And everything can be taken away if you're self-catering. After your meal, you can also take advantage of the deckchairs provided free of charge on the beach, showers and lockers (a good idea when waiting for your evening flight after checking out at a local hotel). Friday evenings feature live music.

CHEZ JULES

Regional cuisine restaurant €€
3.3/5

A long way down the small road to La Digue, this paillote seems a godsend for cyclists in flip-flops looking for a delicious and hearty fresh fruit cocktail, or for strollers looking for lunch in a paradisiacal and often unexpected setting. On the menu: a few simple (and rather successful) Creole and international dishes enjoyed on the long wooden takamaka tables and a siesta on the gentle Anse Banane opposite the establishment. What more could you ask for? Of course, the hardest part will be leaving.

LE NAUTIQUE LUXURY WATERFRONT HOTEL

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

Le Nautique, the restaurant of the eponymous hotel, is first of all a dream spot facing the Indian Ocean where you can eat almost with your feet in the water. On the menu, light and fast at lunch time, mainly composed of good burgers, fish & chips, tacos with Creole sauce and octopus curry in particular. As the sun sets, it's time for the more sophisticated dinner menu. With a few options for carnivores, but above all seafood products sublimated by the chef that only add to the pleasure of the taste buds.

WOODEN HOUSE

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

This pretty wooden house, which opened its kitchen in 2021, is the new table of Beau Vallon. Since then, it has been delighting its visitors, who mostly sit on its small covered terrace, with a rather original menu. Indeed, one can choose between excellent pasta dishes, with products directly imported from the Italian Botte, and Japanese specialties of very good quality. It must be said that with freshly caught fish (including an excellent raw tuna) directly from the Indian Ocean, the quality products are there! We like it a lot.

OLD PIER

Regional cuisine restaurant

The Old Pier, a few meters away from the mythical Anse Source d'Argent, offers a few well-crafted Creole dishes, which change daily, and good sandwiches (on the spot or to go). Especially the setting, facing the ocean under a straw hut and feet in the sand, is really very pleasant. It's a godsend to enjoy an octopus salad between two swims, a fresh Seybrew or a good cocktail. The fruit juices are also delicious. The pontoon in front of the terrace also offers a superb view. A real call for selfies!

SAINT-PIERRE BEACH RESTAURANT

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

If the evening buffet (575 SR) is mainly for guests of the Paradise Sun Hotel, coming to lunch under the straw hut of Saint-Pierre overlooking the beach is a real good idea. Of course, the view, especially on the Saint-Pierre islet, is sublime, but the simple and well-made dishes (pizzas, pastas, burgers and of course some Creole specialties) also offer a very competitive quality/price ratio. Everything for a successful gourmet break between two sea baths.

LA GRANDE MAISON

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

La Grande Maison is the new top table of Mahé. Opened in 2016, the establishment found refuge in a magnificent colonial home dating back to 1792 and is classified as Seychelles Heritage. Restored with noble materials and in the spirit of the day, it also allows you to live a beautiful culinary experience. The Belgian chef Christelle Verheyden, who runs a local and regal team with a card that changes almost every day. Here everything is made home, including bread, and typical dishes are superbly revisited. One can only advise the heart of fresh palm with truffle and cari leaf, before regaling Creole Creole served in a vase. Unless it is tempted by one of the three fish of the day, the selection of seafood or pig-grown pork on sugar cane. A whole program! Because in every plate, it's minimum 8 ingredients… In short, a table to be tested, especially on Wednesday and Saturday, when a local group occurs live.
