MÉTRO DE MOSCOU

Getting around by metro
4.5/5
8 reviews

The metro is the king of transportation in the capital. Stations are identified by red "M" signs on the street. Tourists can easily get lost in the network: directions are indicated at each platform in English and Cyrillic, line changes are indicated by signs showing a blue man descending the steps. The metro fare is reasonable (think of the Troika card) and the metro is free for children under 7 years old. Moreover, since the Olympic Games, most of the signs are in English.

TRANSPORTS ROUTIERS DE SAINT-PÉTERSBOURG

Public transport

In buses, trolleybuses and trams, tickets are purchased from the controller. You don't need to ruin it, or she'll come and see you. Travel is random, uncertain hours, and wait up to 20 ª minutes. At peak times, buses, trolleybuses and trams are taken.
Any visitor wishing to tour the city center should know that buses Nos. № 22 and 7 ♂ and trolleybuses No. ≈ 1, 5, 7, 10, 22 ♂ and 44 ♀ are circulating on Nevski. All these buses are located in Doumskaya street near Gostiny Dvor. Trents (No. 1, 5) can be a very good way to discover the city for those who are not in hurry. You have to take the tramway and enjoy a walk of an hour rhythmic by its slow swing. Resetting in public transport is very bad.
