The small metro in Porto Alegre is the equivalent of the Parisian RER, running rather in the outskirts of the city. However, the airport, the Rodoviária and the mercado publico do have a station. The single line runs from Porto Alegre to São Leopoldo, via Canoas, Esteio and Sapucaia do Sul. It is 44 kilometres long, with a total of 22 stations 2.1 kilometres apart. It is therefore necessary to calculate well where to get off, at the risk of covering a long distance on foot! From the central market you can reach the bus station or the airport by metro.

The airport of Campo Grande connects this large agricultural city to the rest of the country. Please note that about one boat a day (conventional) circumnavigates several islands before arriving at Morro, and the journey becomes very long (about 4 hours), so check before boarding. These means of transport are always very pleasant, but, as we specified for journeys between Morro de São Paulo and Salvador, the boat trip is longer.
