Read moreA trip to the dunes is a fabulous experience. The bikes(Fat Bike) are equipped with large under-inflated tires adapted to ride in the sand without difficulty. At least two hours of fun riding over the ridges, climbing up and down the slopes. Day trips are possible. We will explain the formation of the dunes and the composition of the sand in a playful and recreational way. A great way to discover the surroundings!
WALKS IN THE UGAB RIVER
Read moreThe 3-day hikes are organized in the bed of the Ugab River, every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, from April to October. Hikers must provide and transport their equipment. This is an affordable way to go up the riverbed, a source of life frequented by the famous desert elephants. The Huab, Uniab and especially Hoanib rivers offer even more chance to observe elephants and sometimes even lions descending to the ocean!
