The region is also renowned for its incredible birdwatching and rich Zulu culture. Visitors can discover Zulu culture and learn new ways of life by visiting a food forest. Carlos, the lodge owner, offers accommodation in a large tent located in a food forest, with cooking facilities and running water. There is also plenty of space to relax and a swimming pool. Volunteers are invited to help with ecological projects, gardening, construction, animal care, general maintenance and welcoming tourists. Volunteers can work up to 3 to 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
