On a royal burial site, this timeless festival celebrates the Bakwena culture through songs, crafts and food.
The Dithubaruba Cultural Festival celebrates the culture of Bakwena and takes place in Ntsweng, a royal burial site in the Molepolole region. Organized by the Kgosi Sechele I Museum, it aims to promote this local culture through various expressive activities, while strengthening the sense of belonging and pride of the local population. On the programme are traditional dances and songs, local crafts, and the tasting of typical dishes from the region.
