At the disposal of the customers, swimming pool and massages. We love the restaurant, open to all. The setting is magnificent. It is a little more expensive than the average but the dishes are very well done, special mention for the vegetable chopsuey and the chicken with mangoes and curry. A private terrace directly on the beach, an intimate corner ideal for a romantic evening or at least in a quiet and beautiful setting.

Summer Homes is located on the main beach of Port Barton, Itaytay Beach. Some rooms, in the form of small colorful bungalows, have their own terrace and a view of the sea. It is a good option for small budgets, the bungalows are basic but pleasant. The rooms at the back are still decent. The staff is friendly and helpful, you can organize your diving or island hopping trips. Quiet address on the beach.

The 5-star hotel enjoys a pleasant environment although a bit out of the way in the Pasay district. It offers a nice view of Manila Bay and its beautiful sunsets. The rooms decorated with dark wood are modern and the bathrooms very spacious. The lobby is impressive and the adjoining lounge bar ideal for a drink. The pool is very nice and has a pool bar. The Spiral restaurant, with its international buffet, is one of the best in town.

The Reggae guesthouse is a very friendly establishment of six individual and family bungalows of native house inspiration , nestled at the entrance of the beach of Alona (seven minutes on foot). A beautiful address where one appreciates the calm, its rock and good child atmosphere and especially its luxuriant garden. Breakfasts are included and will be served on the terrace or in the bungalow. The bar and the kitchen are open from 7:30 am to 10 pm. In short, everything is done so that you will not miss anything. A favorite that we recommend to travelers!

Ideally located in the heart of the small town of El Nido next to restaurants, stores ... The hotel is composed of 9 rooms of different ranges but all equipped with air conditioning, a safe and hot water. The rooms, all in wood, are simple but charming, in the spirit of Banaue. The friendly restaurant serves very good food. It is a central and popular address for sleeping, eating or organizing an outing.

Very simple, clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly establishment with all its woodwork, very quiet, a little above the Log Cabin (shortcut just after on the left, blue portico). A veranda, accessible on the floor from the common room, offers a magnificent view on the whole valley. Wifi is available on the terrace. Some of the rooms have a great view of the village and the valley and are in our opinion the best plan for couples in Sagada. Good value for money for this guesthouse.

The hotel was originally a restaurant serving organic cuisine using the products grown by the owner and now became a guest room. The owner wishes to contribute to the preservation of the environment and to work in the development of the local community. Visitors are cared for and can participate in the activities of the farm. We are not on the sea, but there is a small swimming pool for unconditional bathers. The rooms are warm and families have a balcony.

Isis Bungalows & Seafood Thaï Restaurant is a beachfront hotel in Alona. The hotel, under Swiss supervision, offers 12 bungalows and rooms with sea-facing terraces. They have a restaurant in which they propose varied and very good dishes. The eight rooms are rudimentary and decent. The sanitary facilities are... basic (as everywhere in Batad). This beautiful and cozy hotel, well maintained by the Episcopal Church of Sagada, is the first place where it was possible to stay in Sagada, which makes it quite important in the history of the city. There is also a restaurant with large tables that allow visitors to get to know each other and communicate more easily. The rooms are of course basic, but clean. "Your home in Sagada" is how one of the oldest addresses in the city defines itself. And it's quite true! Family atmosphere (come for dinner or breakfast and you'll have a pretty good idea of the said atmosphere) for this well kept guesthouse. The rooms are beautiful and we prefer the ones not facing the street. One will find there especially a feeling of wellbeing, due largely to the generosity of the personnel. We recommend it.

Clean, bright and modern hotel with modestly sized rooms. Be careful though, it is located in a very busy street in a very picturesque area. The contrast between the comfort of the hotel and the precariousness of the surrounding streets can be surprising (as it often is in Manila). The staff is pleasant and efficient. Other establishments of the Red Planet group are scattered in the city and offer the same standard: secure, basic but comfortable addresses for a very good price. A sure value in this price range.

From single rooms to cottages with sea views or tree houses, Ausan offers a wide range of accommodation with, shall we say, original decoration. The main asset of this establishment is its ideal location, directly on the beach. 10 rooms out of 14 are equipped with a shower with hot water. There is a restaurant on the beach and the possibility to book tours. All in all, a perfect place but a little bit basic comfort.

Garden village Resort offers classic double rooms and independent villas for up to four people, each with its own private garden, barbecue and everything you need for an independent vacation. Each villa has two air-conditioned bedrooms with separate bathrooms. The kitchen is furnished with all the necessary utensils, and a washing machine is available. The swimming pool is a welcome addition in hot weather, and the staff are always on hand to help. The location is great and the restaurant very good. Very good value for money.

This may be the address for backpackers missing from El Nido - it may well be because we are not sure that too large a influx of tourists does not harm the majesty of the site in the long term. The Banana is ideally located in the heart of the city and has access to the beach on which you can therefore enjoy while waiting for better days… the rooms are small but very clean: it is probably the best value for money in the city for small budgets…

At the end of Alona beach with direct access of course, here is the largest beachfront resort on the island! The 400 accommodations (private villas and deluxe rooms) share the immense space with three magnificent swimming pools, an institute for treatments and massages and several restaurants, one of which is refined and the other an all-you-can-eat buffet. There is also a poolside bar. Everything is top of the line. Attentive and available staff. It is a little ostentatious (certainly) but it is not luxury for a 5-star hotel!

Right on the beach (with its feet in the water, in fact), the Alona Vida is a charming hotel offering attractive rooms at good value for money. The resort is also renowned for its bar and restaurant, the Coco Vida. If you're looking for a stay that's both lively and atmospheric, and at the same time a little lazy and not moving around, then this establishment, which combines all the amenities and is ideally located on the beach, is just what you're looking for.

Close to the port and bus terminal, this 110-room establishment enjoys a good downtown location, with all the usual amenities close at hand (beware, it can be a bit noisy at night). The rooms and facilities are fairly modern but without charm, and comfort and security are present. And for the price, we're not going to ask too much - it's probably the best budget hotel in town. Wifi and hot water are functional. A perfectly decent address for a night's transit.

In the heights of San Juan, hides one of the best establishments of the island. The rooms of Nakabalo are sober and chic, the wood is in the honor. Some have a splendid sea view and even an outside shower. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant serves excellent cuisine. The highlight? Without hesitation, the magnificent infinity pool that overlooks Siquijor and offers a 180° view on the vegetation, the sea and the breathtaking sunset. All this on a background of jazz music. The seventh heaven!

Together very well kept, comfortable and exhibiting an obvious artistic research: shows the open-air showers or the ground floor of these bungalows on two floors (open lounge). However, during our passage in October 2010, the ground floor (so pleasant) would be transformed into other rooms. This may seriously harm the quality of the whole. However, you will always appreciate the small swimming pool that crosses a wooden bridge.

The Henry Hotel is a tropical sanctuary in the heart of bustling Pasay. The property, built in the last century in an elegant colonial style, has the unique charm of historic buildings. While maintaining the authenticity of the place, the furnishings play on the vintage side with a multitude of 50's decorative touches. The lush garden has a lovely pool hidden in the greenery. Having lunch in the restaurant or on the veranda lulled by the wind of the retro fans is magical. An irresistible address full of joyful nostalgia.

Opened in 2016, this is the closest address to the bus terminal (ideal when arriving by night bus at 5am) and close to stores and restaurants. The rooms, with wooden furniture and rustic decoration, are comfortable, they benefit from a private bathroom, wifi and electrical outlets (almost a luxury in Banaue). The owners will be happy to help you organize your excursions, so be sure to let them know in advance as they slip out of the reception area from time to time. A very good price.

Well located, this establishment from another era has the charm of the old: antique furniture, antiques, handicrafts, wooden floors and stairs that creak... Alas, the infrastructure also seems a bit old-fashioned: worn carpeting, very outdated sanitary facilities, and one should avoid the standard rooms downstairs (noisy and with a lot of mosquitoes) and which overlook the street. But if you can stay in the other rooms, a correct choice (although a bit expensive for the standard proposed), with wifi and a café-resto next door.

Located near the American Embassy and not far from Intramuros, in the Ermita district, this rather modern hotel, although a bit faded, has no less than 280 rooms with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay, without breaking the bank. As for the accommodations, the Bayview Park has all the amenities of a star hotel: attentive staff, a restaurant, a gym, a pool and even massages. The quality/price ratio is really very honest for this category of establishments.

The location of this old colonial building built in 1970 is perfect for exploring the city. The rooms, from the double room to the 6-bed dormitory to the suite, arranged around an inner courtyard with a lovely fountain, have all the necessary comforts. The whole has that old world charm with a modern touch. Bicycles can be rented, an ideal and original way to discover Vigan. On site, Café Bigaa serves the most delicious ilocana cuisine (bagnet, longganisa, grilled fish).

A well-located beachfront hotel, with a pleasant pool and charming, if a little old-fashioned, bungalows. The service is good and the breakfast is very good (which is always appreciated). The only shadow in this idyllic picture is that the establishment is mostly frequented by Asian tourist groups, so live music and karaoke evenings are a regular occurrence... If you don't like to sing (or if you don't like to hear much singing), don't bother!

A pleasant hotel affiliated to the Sea Explorers dive center and located directly on the beachfront. The bamboo and nippa bungalows, scattered in a large green garden, are simply decorated but comfortable and very clean. The most luxurious ones are on the beach. There is a pool, a massage center, a restaurant and of course the diving center. A good address for a retreat between diving and relaxation. Good value for money.

The Marlin is one of Bantayan's best-known establishments, which may disappoint at first glance (the reason for its success?), but which nevertheless offers top-quality services such as transfers to and from Santa Fe harbor, comfortable rooms, a very good breakfast buffet and a prime location, both waterfront and quiet, and yet very close to restaurants and stores. We also like the beachside restaurant. A safe address in this price category.

It is said that this 5-star hotel has the most beautiful lobby of all the hotels in Manila. And it's true that as soon as you enter, you are plunged into another world, a historic Manila from the beginning of the ^20th century. A new wing has been fitted out, the rooms are even more luxurious. The service is excellent. Stores offer cigars, clothes and Filipino products at a price in line with the hotel's standing. A magnificent swimming pool, a fitness center and bars and restaurants complete the high level infrastructure.

Harold offers one of the best value for money in town, plus a host of services: luggage storage, tour organization, day trip or diving trip, etc. Ask and it will be arranged for you by the reception staff. The address has lost some of its splendor but it is still a good place to stay for a night of transit (located 10 minutes from the port). Different types of rooms, with or without air conditioning, dormitory, at unbeatable prices.

The hotel Concrete is not an endorsement (it is a government hotel) and the atmosphere is sometimes a bit ugly, but it offers the best level of comfort of Banaue. Prefer deluxe rooms, all wood panelling and charming. You can enjoy the swimming pool, the restaurant (somewhat any other) and cultural demonstrations in the evening (dances and folk music, interpreted by the Ifugaos).

The hotel is especially suitable for its restaurant, which has a beautiful view (no thousands of electric cables in front of you) on the rice fields and offers honest (but uneven) cuisine. The rooms are rather correct, especially the most recent with view of the rice fields. Mountain chalet atmosphere.

Located close to the SM City Mall and therefore close to buses and other points of interest in the city. Very good location. It is a budget hotel with a fairly good price/quality ratio. The rooms are rather old-fashioned and lack charm but they are decent and there is hot water. The reception is pleasant. There is wifi available (especially in the lobby). Overall, the whole is rather convincing without being transcendent. It does the trick for a night or two. A breakfast is offered to the customers.

Casa de la Playa and its bungalows are a bit higher than the beach, which allows for a nice view. The cottages are well decorated, in shades of blue, white and seashells, with a little Cycladic feel. However, the complex is not the most recent, so don't expect the ultimate in comfort, nor the finest in restoration. It will suit travelers who are looking for a quiet place close to nature to recharge their batteries. The prices are correct and the staff very nice.

Located on the famous Corong-Corong beach, in a privileged environment while being close to the village of El Nido, this establishment offers some charming cottages, combining careful decoration with modern comfort, some of which have a view on the sea. There is a nice swimming pool facing the sea as well as a refined bar and restaurant that serves excellent cuisine. Nice place and nice services. Children under 15 years old are not allowed to stay here to ensure a quiet environment. For couples looking for a romantic place.

They are small bamboo bungalows, very basic in terms of comfort but they have the advantage of being located on the beach. The strong point: its central location, a few minutes away from the center of the village, but also a little away from it and therefore quiet. We also like the small private terraces which allow to appreciate the sunsets. The prices are affordable, the owners are available and accommodating. It is not the best value for money of El Nido but it remains a correct and practical place.

L'Amorita is a charming, luxurious hotel set high above the Bohol Sea, offering dazzling panoramic views. More than 90 sumptuous rooms and suites combine comfort, contemporary design and refined decor There are also villas with private pools. And best of all: breathtaking sea views for everyone. The atmosphere is very zen, and the staff promise a level of service equal to that of luxury. The infinity pool is impressive, so all you have to do is order a juice or a cocktail and enjoy this paradise.

Rooms offering exceptional panoramas on the rice fields, it is again the big point. They are very basic and in general, there is no hot water (usual thing in the region). The restaurant area has an equally beautiful view and the food is good. In the high season, guitar is sometimes played on the veranda. It is a good place to sleep after a trek, even if the prices are a bit high compared to other pensions.

It is a large establishment, located near the airport. Arranged on two floors and surrounding a beautiful swimming pool, the rooms are comfortable, of a relatively high standard and with a sober and elegant decoration. Some even have a bathtub. There is also a whirlpool bath and musical entertainment is organized on certain nights of the week. In addition, there are pool and ping-pong tables available to guests. The staff is courteous and available. A good address for a night or two.
