Restaurant on the beach, rooms upstairs and (more interestingly, because it's quieter) bungalows at the back, in a vast, exuberant garden. The whole is a little dated, but correct.

The rooms and dormitories are fairly simple but clean and well-maintained. The garden has been laid out as a place to relax and eat, with cushions, small tables and a few plants. Halfway between an inn and a bed & breakfast, this friendly establishment is perfect for groups of friends.

A very good boutique hotel with 40 rooms, located in a sort of quiet subdivision near the airport. The whole is elegant and distinguished, though perhaps a little old-fashioned. The comfort is quite acceptable. Some rooms have a veranda with a view of the majestic Mayon volcano. There is also a swimming pool and a large restaurant where a buffet breakfast is served in the morning. The staff is very attentive. A very good value for money for this 3-star hotel.

Probably one of the best hotels in its category. The bungalows, lined up around the pool, are charming and comfortable, the decoration is simple but modern and there is air conditioning and correct bedding. Some consider this resort to be the most comfortable in Donsol. It overlooks the beach, where the restaurant is located and where it is pleasant to enjoy a delicious cocktail at the end of the day, facing the sunset. The food is good. It is a peaceful hotel, just like Donsol.

Part dive center, part hotel, the resort is somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle, to the south of the beach. The atmosphere is tranquil. The whole resort, with its charming swimming pool, seafront restaurant and massage center, is very well kept. It's a family address, and the hosts are particularly attentive and available. Breakfast is good, as are the dishes served in the restaurant, which also boasts a superb view. Ideal for a diving holiday.

Here's a good address, ideally located 500 meters from the beach, offering ten pleasant, well-kept rooms with sea views, plus more recent room-villas to the rear. The rooms are welcoming and charming, with bamboo even in the bed frames. Each room has its own private terrace. To quibble a little, it's a shame there's no swimming pool, but there's an endless natural pool in front, where you can easily spot turtles and sardines.

An excellent address, also located on Bounty Beach. This is a budget-friendly resort offering excellent value for money. The rooms are comfortable, the owners and all the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant offers very good Western-style food (pizzas and burgers). Plus, the large swimming pool. And of course the adjoining diving center, for a turnkey holiday from your hotel. We like it.

A very convenient hostel when you are in transit through Puerto Princesa before continuing north. The staff is very nice and of good advice, the dormitories are quite correct, clean and well kept, and it is the case of the common sanitary too. We appreciate particularly the small curtain to each bed which allows to have a little intimacy. There is a very pleasant terrace where breakfast is served and where it is easy to meet other people. Good price.

Run by Jean-Pierre, a Swiss who has lived in Palawan for ages (he used to own the Coco Island Resort), this out-of-the-way establishment - a bit kitschy for some - offers basic and comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning and a veranda in some of them that brings light. There is also a large restaurant-bar and a big swimming pool that will make the children happy. Unusual: the chess game in the water! It is possible to organize the transfer from and to the airport. A good address for small budgets.

Festive and luxurious atmosphere.

Here's a rather pleasant and unexpected establishment where art has pride of place, judging by the tribal sculptures and other paintings and photographs that cover the walls of the common areas. Even before you step inside, the facade, with its mix of vegetation and immense sculptures, leaves no one indifferent. As for the terrace... We reserve the right to surprise you! Kublai Millan has succeeded in a gamble that's a little zany, but one that's sure to win you over! The rooms are simple but functional, and the welcome is extremely friendly. An address out of the ordinary.

The Waterfront is a huge, unassuming structure, but it offers charming services: limousine transportation, swimming pool, whirlpool, health club and spa... it's all there. What's more, it's all enhanced by a charming welcome from the staff. The perfect place to spend a relaxing night while waiting for your flight. In fact, the hotel couldn't be more conveniently located, literally right next to the airport.

A charming hotel, located in the heart of Santa Fe, in a beautiful tropical garden and 200 meters from the dream beaches for which the island is famous. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. Le Coucou also has a restaurant-bar serving carefully prepared dishes. Bikes, motorcycles and boats are available for hire. The hosts, Denis, a French-speaking Belgian, and Riezel, a Filipina, are very welcoming and a real mine of information about the island. Excellent value for money.

The restaurant, which faces the sea, is friendly and serves excellent cuisine. There's a large swimming pool and even a souvenir store in this large resort. The hotel provides transfers to and from the airport.

This medium-sized hotel (26 rooms) is in a warm setting, nestled in an old colonial mansion restored like a museum. Terra cotta brick walls, exposed beams and old wood. The small rooms are pleasant (avoid if possible those on the first floor, narrow and lacking in light), even if the bathrooms could be renovated. The hotel also has a pleasant café-restaurant, overlooking the street, where you can eat good food. Good value for money.

There's no restaurant, but each villa has its own outdoor kitchen, so it's the ideal place for a longer or shorter trip on your own. We love it!

The Quo Vadis is a charming, well-maintained establishment in Moalboal, which is also a diving center. It's one of the best value-for-money establishments on the island, both slightly removed from the hustle and bustle and yet very close to the town center. The big plus? Its swimming pool (and pool bar) with sea view, top! The restaurant-bar, with its feet in the sand, is friendly and lively. Most of the rooms are a little old-fashioned but functional. In fact, most of them also offer a lovely sea view.

The 450 rooms are decorated in a contemporary design style with an artistic touch. The staff is courteous and available as expected in an establishment of this standing. It is well maintained, the staff is efficient and friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable, in addition to being well decorated and spread out in a garden on the beach. Despite this, the resort is well located, just a few meters from the beach but in a quiet area. The staff are very helpful, the welcome very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Definitely one of the best value for money.

This family-run hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Ayala Center and SM City. It offers simple but clean rooms and pleasant common areas. The restaurant is popular and has a friendly atmosphere. Those nostalgic for Western food can come here for fish and chips and advice from Anglo-Saxon expats. The staff could be more accommodating. But it's the excellent value for money and the convenient central location that really stand out.
