The most beautiful natural sites to discover Mexico

The canal starts from the Plaza de Los 400 Años and leads to the Parque Fundidora, a former steel mill that has been converted into a large park that houses centres for artistic creation and dissemination and leisure activities. It is one of the city's most emblematic places for local families.

This lagoon, named La Machona and located west of Paraiso, is adjacent to the Gulf. There are birds and it is possible to take boat walks. To achieve this, you must move towards La Venta on Route 180 and then take to the north for Benito Juárez and then Sanchez Magallanes (33 km from La Venta). You can walk along the coast and the lagoon to El Alacrán.

This is a trip you shouldn't miss from Creel or on your way to Batopilas. Once parked, you will walk about 500 metres under the pine forest before reaching a small viewpoint from where you can observe the waterfalls diving about thirty metres lower down on reddish-coloured roads. Then we patiently descend the 240 steps for the opposite point of view.
