Las Ahumaderas is a veritable cabinet of curiosities made up of different locals offering tortas, burritos and especially tacos, so much so that the place is nicknamed "Taco Alley" by passing Americans in search of the tastiest tacos in town. Set up in a row, these stands make your mouth water and attract passers-by with their intoxicating smell of grilled meat. The most difficult thing is to make a choice! Then, you sit down on a stool along the counter, in all simplicity. Popular and timeless since 1960.

The people of Oaxaca can't get enough of this mobile shop, and for good reason: they've been making the best tacos in town since 2004! Their slogan: "We're not the only ones, but we're the best!" Their tortillas are handmade and a myriad of toppings are offered. Their lechón tacos are especially delicious. Beware of misunderstandings: a stall with the same name is nearby, so be sure to head to the right place.
