Villa de Leyva, Colombia, is home to Viñedo Umaña Dajud, a winery offering a unique wine experience. Located in the historic Saquenzipá valley, less than 8 kilometers from Villa de Leyva's main square, the viñedo enjoys exceptional conditions for vine-growing, with high light levels, a marked temperature range between day and night, and clay soil that lends body and intensity to the wines produced. Viñedo Umaña Dajud offers guided tours of the vineyard, starting every half-hour from 9am until 6pm. The last guided tour starts at 5pm. It is advisable to book your visit at least 24 hours in advance. It is therefore advisable to book before visiting the viñedo Umaña Dajud to avoid the risk of not being able to be accommodated due to limited capacity. Viñedo Umaña Dajud also offers different plans for visitors, such as an introduction to wine, a family plan, a romantic plan and a plan for enjoying the afternoon with a wine tasting and gourmet canasta. Please note that the wines produced by viñedo Umaña Dajud are only available for internal consumption under the plans offered.
