You can visit Medialuna (Half-Moon) from Rancagua: this is, of course, the arena for rodeos. Opened in 1997, it can accommodate up to 12 000 people. 

Football fans will not hesitate for a second and will visit this mythical stadium which hosted the World Cup in 1962. In fact, a match of rare violence between Chile and Italy took place there and left a lasting impression! The stadium also includes a memorial to the victims of the Pinochet dictatorship. The stadium is also home to a memorial to the victims of the Pinochet dictatorship, which is infamous for having been converted into a prison camp, where no fewer than 40,000 people were held between 1973 and 1990.
