Run by Bertrand, a Bordeaux native, and his Chilean wife Nancy, this contemporary and urban art gallery opened its doors in 2009. Well situated, it offers an interesting panorama of Puerto Rican art. There are paintings by Juan Pablo Neira and Gonzalo Ilabaca (whose name is now well known to art lovers), engravings by Roberto Acosta and Loro Coirón of course, as well as original sculptures and a number of very interesting objects and souvenirs. On the walls of a small string of bright, airy rooms are works by both established and emerging Chilean artists. A variety of formats, techniques and styles are on display, and the welcome is warm and friendly. An address that will appeal to discerning art and street art enthusiasts. Certainly the best gallery in Valparaiso in this category.

Shop specialized in ceramic and terracotta sculptures. Unlike other sculpture shops on Caracoles, the articles of La Mano are richer in detail and with a wider palette of colours; they are also more expensive. Bath salts with essential oils for hot tinas are also available for sale.
