Getting around by bus and coach Peru

This company is very recommendable to travel in northern Peru. It offers numerous buses for Lima, Chiclayo, Trujillo, Chepen, Guadalupe and Pascamayo.

Almost all buses are located at the Gechisa land terminal.

Count for Lima : 16 hours of travel

Trujillo: 6 hours travel time.

Chiclayo : 3h journey

Talara (2h journey) or Mancora (3h journey)

Tumbes: 6 hours travel time

Colectivos go to Catacaos, Paita, Sullana from the corner of Loreto Avenue and Jiron Tumbes

For Huancabamba and Chulucanas, go to the Terminal Terrestre de Castilla. Between 6 and 10 hours of travel.

Crossing the Ecuadorian border : Count 9 hours to reach Loja (border with Ecuador). Direct from Piura to Guayaquil possible.

Very good company, favorite tourist and therefore a little more expensive. Recommended for a night trip (flights are much less frequent). Large number of destinations: in the north (Chimbote, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Cajamarca, Piura, Tumbes), in the center (Ayacucho, Huaraz, Huancayo) and south (Nazca, Ica, Arequipa, Cusco, Ilo and Tacna). Tickets can also be purchased through the Teleticket modules found in the Wong and Metro supermarkets in Miraflores or Barranco.

Bus for Lima, Puno, Arequipa but also Puerto Maldonado (19 h for 10 h drive and S/60).

Chiclayo, Trujillo and Lima. 

In addition to its connections to Lima and the south coast (Ica, Nasca, and Tacna), Ormeño also offers international links in "Royal Class" (include shellfish bus): Caracas, Bogotá, Quito, Brazil, Chile and Bolivia.
