VAPORETTOS

Public transport

The first Romanian city to have a tramway, Timișoara can also boast of being the first (and for the moment the only) city in the country to have river shuttles. On weekends, the ride is free! The 25-minute walk takes you from the Orthodox Cathedral to the Children's Park and back again. The vaporettos do not operate in winter.
