FÊTE DES ANCIENS COMBATTANTS

During the Communist era, only Soviet army soldiers were honoured. Since 1990, on 9 May, the former combatants of the Romanian army of origin, those who were deported in Siberia by the Russians, the fallen soldiers in Afghanistan and those who died during the military conflict with the Transnistrian separatists, have been arrested.
