Comrat's bus station is located north of the town centre, 400 m north of the central market and the regional history museum. A roundabout and many shops are nearby (bars, restaurants, shops, hypermarket). Regular bus and microbus connections connect Comrat to other towns in Gagauzia, to other Moldavian towns and to Chișinău. The ticket price is not high, it is a rather cheap way to travel. Ungheni railway station is located near the bus station and many shops (hotels, shops...). This station is an important railway node and, on the spot, the gauge of the axles is changed (the gauge of the rails in the former USSR is wider than in the rest of Europe). Trains departing from Ungheni allow to reach Chișinău, other Moldavian cities but also Iași, in Romania. The price of the train ticket is modest and it is an interesting way to discover the country if you have some time.

The bus station of Călărași is located east of the city centre, near a roundabout. It is a modern blue and white building. There are regular microbus connections to the capital, the surrounding areas and other cities in the country at low prices. It is an economical way to travel and discover the country. The train station of Călărași is in the east of the city, 200 m from the bus station. It's a nice little building in old style. There are regular connections to Chișinău (46 km away) and other places in the country. The price of the train ticket is low, but for reservations, timetables and destinations, please refer to the Moldovan Railways website or ask at the ticket office at the train station. From the bus station you can also reach the capital or other cities.
