The main luxury lodges listed in Livingstone are actually within the Mosi-oa-Thunya National Park, as they are located along the Zambezi River from the falls to the park boundary. There is an overnight fee included in the price, as well as activities within the park (game drive, walking safari with rhinos). You can also bring your own vehicle for a self-drive safari to see the peaceful herbivores that live here (no predators). You will have to pay the taxes at the office at the park gate.

The Livingstone Tourist Office is located on the main road to the city, Mosi-oa-Tunya Road. There you can find maps and leaflets listing all the activities organized in the area, mainly the visit of the Victoria Falls, but also the excursions on Livingstone Island and the Devil's Pool in low water or the Angel's Pool in high water. But also all the sports that can be practiced, including rafting. Do not hesitate to ask your questions to the very welcoming staff who will be able to guide you in English.

In order to preserve the park's wilderness and to minimize the negative impact of tourism, African Parks has implemented a quota system allowing only 25 vehicles to enter the park at any one time. It is therefore advisable to book your visit by email or telephone. In any case, you will have to go to the park office to obtain a permit and pay an entrance fee, which is located at the Kalabo exit. There are community camps, including Sibika, with new permanent chalets.

Apart from a few leaflets, the information is rather limited and it is rather useless to go directly to the tourist office.
