FEZBAR

Bar and caf

This Moroccan-inspired lounge bar with a few pool tables and foosball tables is one of the most obvious places to go in Livingstone. We don't recommend eating there, but for a few beers and a good time, it's a good place to go. It fills up in the middle of the night with locals and tourists coming to dance on international hits. Nothing very trendy nor sharp as far as music is concerned, but Livingstone is not Ibiza, here we go to bed early. There is more animation in the bars of the youth hostels but it is less local.

ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE

Concert halls

If Zambia is not a French-speaking country by its history, the Alliance française of Lusaka is very involved in the cultural life of the city. It organizes many events: concerts, theatrical performances, film screenings, exhibitions... It also has a beautiful media library with a good number of books and magazines in French. Don't hesitate to consult its agenda on its social networks, you will be surprised by the eclecticism and the frequency of the cultural events.

O’HAGANS

Bar and caf

If you had to choose only one pub, it would be this Irish haunt, which in its Anglo-Saxon atmosphere, offers a wide selection of beers served by the pint. The satellite television provides sports broadcasts, for those who are looking for a good bar to watch a soccer match. For a snack, we recommend the fish & chips, but people come here mostly for a drink rather than dinner. The bar is particularly busy on jazz concert nights, with a local band playing every Thursday night.
