By road, discover the north coast of Ciovo. The Bura-Line boats for Slatinus stop in Arbanija. The opportunity to swim at the beach of Kava, 4 km east of Slatinus and find quiet beach bars, the Palandara buffet for example (Arbanija).

5 km from the town centre, to the south of the peninsula of Čiovo, this sandy beach, 2 km long is the most popular in the corner! On site, a water sports club, beach bars, restaurants and parasols.

It is a beach of sand and gravel shaded by a pine forest, that the people of Trogir or Split are visiting. Take bus # 37 for Split.

During the day, you can rent mattresses with umbrellas on the beach, order cold drinks and enjoy the view of the old town walls. The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine, salads and grilled meats. In the afternoon, the lounge bar takes over until the evening, where you can come with friends for cocktails and dinners facing the sea. At night, the complex is transformed into a discotheque with commercial EDM music that turns up the sound (entrance fee in summer).

In the maritime part, which borders the mountainous park, a geological curiosity is as much a fjord (50 to 150 m wide) as an arm of the sea. A protected landscape since 1964, this superb site has nearly one kilometre of elaborate banks. These are dominated by chalky cliffs and lead to a quiet bay, where swimming is permitted. To get there, car or two-wheelers are recommended. From Zadar, after Prizna on the E 65, take the road to Jablanac/Uvala Zavratnica on the left. From Stinica (ferry) take the coastal path.

In July 2004, the American magazine Forbes ranked this beach of white pebbles, typical of the region, among the 10 most beautiful in the world. Others followed... These distinctions made it possible to preserve this natural jewel. On its western side, the Rock (Kamen Brela) appears as the most photographed emblem of the beach. On its bare stone stand a few Aleppo pines and a small maquis of myrtle, arbutus and juniper. It is forbidden to climb this islet.

Bačvice is too concrete but it remains the most popular beach in Split, the closest to the historical centre. In summer, all day long, the show is worth a look! Against a backdrop of house or techno, broadcast by beach bars, the feverish, even noisy atmosphere is festive. When some dance while sipping a cocktail, real athletes indulge in their picigin game, the local sport, the ancestor of water polo.

During the off-season, the beach becomes calmer again. If the wind is not too strong, the coffees remain open.

Plaža Vela is one of the most famous beaches on the island. It is as if the beach is an integral part of the resort. It stretches for 2 km, offering its blonde sand, clear water and generally calm to holidaymakers. It is ideal for families with children, for those who love sunbeds. It is therefore very popular in summer! In the immediate vicinity there is a large camping site and the Baška Funny Park.

From Vis Port, follow the long waterfront path to the east, bordered by old and newer summer residences. Towards the end of the walk, after the village of Kut, we arrive at the Grandovac peninsula. Walk past the church and the former Czech property (VillaTopič), once glorious in the past, which is now abandoned and gently squatted by the young people. The cove is protected from the breeze by the pine forest that dominates it, and can be seen below at the beach bar. Crystal clear water, white pebbles, cicadas in the tamarisk trees..

On the long beach of sand and pebbles of Srebreno, all profiles meet, locals, tourists, families, youth groups... Bars-restaurants and shops in the vicinity allow to spend the day there. Another atmosphere reigns on the superb beach of Kupari, where the neighborhood of the abandoned hotels, riddled with mortar bullets, questions. These are former communist palaces reserved for the nomenklatura, which were targeted during the last war (1991).

The bay of Pile embodies the Nera. In Season 2 (Episode 9), we see a post-battle view showing the smashed ships and Stannis' fleet reduced to ashes. The scene is shot in Pile Bay. It should be noted that it is a little difficult to recognize it in the series because the sequence has been heavily modified in post-production. A castle has been added to it, instead of the Bokar tower, and a cliff, in addition to the beached ships (in special effects).

It is also in this bay that Myrcella Baratheon embarks to be married to the Prince of Dorne, to the great sadness of her mother (episode 6). We see the wharf a little later, in season 3 (episode 1): Sansa and Shae watch the merchant ships pass by before being joined by Little Finger who comes to present the young Stark with his escape plans. Finally, in season 8 (episode 6), it is on this same platform that Jon Snow says goodbye to his sisters and brother.
