The wine cellars in the village of Srednee have been registered by UNESCO in the top ten wine cellars in Europe. The favourable climate of the region has encouraged the development, since the Middle Ages, of a popular wine culture, so that the wines of Zakarpatya are exported abroad. In the village of Srednee, the old wine cellars of the th century were preserved, where Leanka continues to produce wine according to traditional technologies. The visit is very interesting. The village is exactly halfway between Uzhgorod and Mukacheve.

The famous Massandra wine cellar was built in 1894 and since then production has never stopped. Today you can discover the secrets of manufacturing and even visit the old imperial cellars where large vintage wines are kept, the oldest of which is a Spanish sherry, De la Frontera, dating back to 1775.
