For some time now, the alleyway of the Tour de Boël, located in the heart of the old town, has been getting a bit lively thanks to the arrival of new shops, including La Tsarine, a fine tea, accessories and garnishing establishment. In this small arcade, you will find all sorts of teas from the Damman Frères house, a reference in the field and names evocative of subtle blends. On the spot, gift ideas with gift boxes, glass, cast iron or porcelain teapots or egoists: the teapot and the cup are one and the same.

It is the reference store for those who like to travel around a real tea. Once in the store, 120 tea blends and therefore 120 escapes guaranteed! Named after its Chinese founder (1875), the house has been run by the Hurter family for 50 years. This longevity is a symbol of quality and knowledge of teas. A tiny shop decorated with bamboo trellis, lined with a tiny restaurant (9 tables) for a wide choice of teas. Shelves accumulate a myriad of small Chinese teapots and cups and varieties of teas. You will be tempted to taste it on the spot by accompanying it with a coconut milk or red bean pastry. Intimate and unconventional, this small poetic haven offers a fine selection of green, white, black, pressed, long, flavoured or rare teas such as the Jardin tea at 2,000 m, picked in the high mountains. Cric Crac Croc is an ideal sign for original gifts at reasonable prices. Imagined as an apartment, the boutique presents on the first floor a whole range of teas from the Kusmi tea brand, including an absolutely brilliant purifying and draining tea, homemade jams, spices, but also a relaxing area where you can enjoy toasts, taboulés, soups, Italian coffees and other delicacies prepared by the owner of the place, Almari Muller. In the basement, the atmosphere changes: Cric Crac Croc unveils bath products as well as some very pretty and inexpensive bags and fashion accessories.

This shop is a charming place for tea and coffee lovers. Here, we only offer products with a history, so far away from some fast-food café chains... Here you will find more than one hundred and sixty different teas - including some great vintage teas, vintage or not -, about fifteen coffees always of pure origin and full of appetizing delicacies including biscuits, sweets, honeys or marshmallows. The welcome is charming, the place is non-smoking and one can enjoy its tasting to jazzy music.
