Keeping fit at any age would be almost the motto of the City of Geneva's sports department. It works for the promotion and practice of sport in Geneva: development of infrastructures, encouraging the practice of sport, organisation of sporting events... More than 800 clubs and 75 purely sporting associations! Whatever the discipline, sport allows for self-expression, expression, well-being and socialization at all ages and for all levels. For example, summer and winter sports schools allow young people to discover and practice a wide range of sports at affordable financial conditions. These leisure activities and sports are aimed at the over 55s, on Saturdays or evenings for those who work. And then the choice: beach volleyball, water polo, ice-skating rink without ice, football on synthetic field.
